The Cape Charles Town Council will meet on December 1, 2022 to interview two citizens for open seats on the Town Planning Commission. This is a Closed Session that is scheduled for 6:30 PM at the Cape Charles Civic Center.
The reason for the closed session is derived from the Code of Virginia § 2.2-3711-A, Paragraph 1: Discussion, consideration, or interviews of prospective candidates for employment; assignment, appointment, promotion, performance, demotion, salaries, disciplining, or resignation of specific public officers, appointees, or employees of any public body.

After the interviews, the appointment of new Planning Commission members will be effective January 1, 2023.
