The Community Relations office had meetings with the Mayor and Town Manager in regards to helping to bring back the ClamSlam/Shuck and Suck event. The Town is prepared to support the event in any way that they can and has offered to give direction on how to make it happen.
The town has also met with Shanty representatives regarding future events co-hosted by the Yacht Center.
The CBES Across the Waters biking event to be held in October was also discussed with police chief Pruitt to try and determine the best and safest route through town.
