Former President Donald Trump’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic included the launch of Operation Warp Speed, an initiative aimed at accelerating the development and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines. During an interview with Megyn Kelly, the former president was not truthful about giving Dr. Fauci a Presidential Commendation.
On his last day in office, Trump awarded a Presidential Commendation to Fauci in recognition of his ‘exceptional efforts’ on Operation Warp Speed.
