Do you wonder why the media and economic elites champion COVID lockdowns? This Morning Consult chart showing that people with graduate degrees and those >$100k income are doing *better* under lockdowns, while everyone else does worse helps clarify.
Well, that’s one theory. It’s a good one I guess, but I think that money/income thing is just a coincidence. I think they just more like the power. It feeds the narcissistic ego. Control. Power that you can’t argue with. You can ignore it and take your chances, but you really can’t argue with it. Like someone with a gun pointed at you. You ever had that ? You can recover and you can ignore it, but you never forget. Personally I think very elites many are unhappy with their lives and don’t want to continue to face their future. We’re in their time out. They don’t want to face the lives they;ve created and don’t want to go to work. That’s why suicides are up, and that’s why current magazine covers picture elites sitting at their computers with a xanax/wine cocktail forging ahead into their free form Gamer Skyped/Zoom life that continues the cysle of depression. Mass media and the whiners are winning and tearing down statues for relief, while President Joe takes directions that throw us into more chaos so that elites need to hibernate more and have someone deliver their take out over and over again.
