ONANCOCK, VA – The Cokesbury Cultural Center will present world-renowned bass-baritone Alvy Powell in a free concert on Saturday, October 11th at 7 p.m. Powell will be joined by Dr. Caroline Gibson for an evening of musical performances at the center’s location at 13 Market Street.
The concert is part of the Cokesbury Cultural Center’s Free Concert Series, which brings quality performances to the Eastern Shore community. While admission is free, donations will be welcomed to support the center’s programming.
The performance will feature a diverse repertoire including beloved classics such as “Ol’ Man River,” “I Loves You Porgy,” and “Wind Beneath My Wings.” The program will also include “God Bless the USA” and “Ain’t It a Pretty Night,” among other selections.
