The purpose of the Historic District Review Board is “to preserve and protect historic places and areas in the Town through the control of demolition of such places and through the regulation of architectural design and uses of structures in such areas.”
The board consists of five members, each of which serves a term of five years.
Board member John Caton, whose term will be expiring on January 8, 2018, has said he will not seek another 5-year term. He will continue to serve until a replacement is found. The town will be announcing applications for the opening early 2018.
