On Saturday, August 6, Kalab Robinson was in a car accident, where he suffered major injuries that left him in ICU at Norfolk General Hospital. He is now faced with a long road to recovery.
Come out to the Shanty on Saturday, August 27, from 12 – 5 p.m. and support his cause with all-you-can-eat steamed crabs, a full raw bar (not included in the ticket price and is by donation only), and enter the silent auction. Tickets will be $30 per person at the door, with all proceeds going directly towards Kalab’s medical expenses.

Kalab’s roots are grounded in the Eastern Shore, where he grew up enjoying all of the outdoor benefits our rural peninsula has to offer, including hunting and fishing, which he has now turned into a career as a waterman. He is also an animal lover and loves spending time with his family and friends; all who are in agreement that Kalab’s personality radiates light to everyone he comes into contact with.
As many know, medical care–especially long-term–is extremely expensive, so now is the time for the Eastern Shore to come together as one to support a fellow Shore native through his extensive path of rehab and recovery.
