PUBLIC NOTICE-In accordance with the Northampton County Board of Supervisors’ policy, please be advised that there are either appointment vacancies or terms which have expired on the following commissions and boards:
Agricultural-Forestal District Advisory Committee. This is an At-Large appointment so any county resident can serve; however, this appointee must be a landowner NOT engaged in farming. The AFD Committee generally meets only once-twice per year.
Eastern Shore Housing Alliance. This appointee is a Consumer Representative and is an At-Large appointee. Meetings are held in Accomac every other month.

Accomack-Northampton Planning District Commission. This is a Citizen Appointee and an At-Large appointment. Any resident of the County can serve. Monthly meetings are held in Accomac.
Planning Commission. This appointee must reside in District 5. The Commission meets in Eastville twice a month: on the first Tuesday evening for the regular meeting and on the third Wednesday in the afternoon for a work session. Election District 5 encompasses the Town of Exmore and most of Occohannock Neck to the Accomack County Line.
Eastern Shore Resource Conservation & Development Council. This is an At-Large position. Any resident of the County can serve. Meetings are held at the RC&D Office in Accomac.
