The concept of a plant swap is simple: participants bring their surplus plants, cuttings, or seeds to exchange with others. Typically, participants label their offerings with information about the plant’s name, care requirements, and any special tips. Attendees can browse the offerings and choose the plants that pique their interest. It’s a win-win situation where gardeners trade their extra flora, diversify their gardens, and expand their plant knowledge.
On October 22nd from 12 to 3 PM, Peach Street Books will be hosting a plant swap at their location on 401 Mason in Cape Charles. Bring your plants, pots, tools, or anything ‘planty’. If you can donate to the free plant table, that would be much appreciated.
