Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia has scheduled a seminar, “Nanotechnology, the next Industrial Revolution”. The free 90-minute seminar will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 17 in Room 148 of the Academic Building of Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, VA 23410.
Josh Hall will present an overview of coming technological developments; he will emphasize implications for the average person’s way of life and use the original Industrial Revolution as context and example.
Hall was the founder and moderator of sci.nanotech, co-founder and chief scientist of Nanorex Inc, and President of the Foresight Institute.
