Aerospace Academy of the Eastern Shore Opens Applications for Inaugural Class

NORTHAMPTON, Va. — The Aerospace Academy of the Eastern Shore (AAES) is now accepting applications for its inaugural freshman class, offering a unique opportunity for eighth-grade students to join an innovative program focused on preparing the next generation of aerospace leaders.

The academy, dedicated to empowering at-risk and underrepresented students, aims to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in aerospace and related industries. Its mission aligns with the GoVA Region 5 Economic Development Authority’s focus on strengthening these sectors, emphasizing innovation, research, and educational access.
