Ken Butta has been appointed as the Cape Charles Town Council representative to the Harbor Review Board.
Former Vice Mayor Steve Bennett had served as the Town Council representative since the board’s inception. With Mr. Bennett’s retirement from the Town Council at the end of December 2024, a new representative was required. The Mayor sought volunteers from the Council, and both Ken Butta and Tara Ashworth stepped forward.
Following a silent vote that resulted in a tie, Mayor Adam Charney broke the tie and selected Butta for the role.
