CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Cape Charles Police Department released its weekly activity report, outlining general law enforcement efforts and a range of service calls handled over the past two weeks.
According to Police Chief [Name], officers conducted building checks, issued traffic summonses, addressed code violations, and maintained regular foot patrols throughout the town.
Between reporting periods, police responded to multiple incidents, including two domestic calls, a harassment complaint, and a bank fraud report. Officers also handled two welfare checks, a weapon retrieval, and four residential alarm calls.
Additional responses included neighbor disputes, noise complaints, a stabbing incident, a fight in progress, and a 911 hang-up. Officers also assisted with citizen calls, fire alarms, and vehicle lockouts, and performed checks on unsecured doors and the town pier.
The department reported assisting citizens twice, responding to a fall assist, and investigating a suspicious vehicle.
What kind of reporting is this? There is no hit and run. Note: Where does it say hit and run?…
Finally some good news. Hopefully Cape Charles can address this continuing problem.
