Alison Parks was recognized as Eastern Shore Rural Health System Inc.’s Employee of the Year at its Employee Celebration Oct. 4 at the Exmore Moose. “Allison exemplifies what it means to be a true leader,” said Rural Health CEO Jeannette Edwards. “She leads by example and inspires everyone around her through her unwavering dedication, kindness and integrity. Alison shows genuine concern for patients daily and that is evident in every interaction. Her devotion extends equally to her colleagues, always offering to lend a helping hand. For those reasons and many more, Alison is truly deserving of this award.”

Parks, a dental hygienist, has been with Rural Health since 2018. She is based at Atlantic Community Health Center. She was nominated by her peers and selected by an independent review committee. Parks was honored at the annual event that this year celebrated Rural Health’s 49th anniversary.
