Vaccines generally work by introducing a piece of a virus or bacteria into your body so you can develop long-lasting immunity to the pathogen. While the piece introduced by the vaccine rapidly fades away, your body’s immune system remembers what it saw. When it encounters the virus or bacteria in the real world it mounts a strong immune response preventing or decreasing the severity of infection.
For COVID-19 vaccines, all of the approved vaccines so far used a spike protein. The spike protein is located on the outside of a coronavirus and is how SARS-CoV-2 (the coronavirus) enters human cells. Its location on the outside of the virus makes it so the immune system can recognize it easily.
The spike protein is unique to SARS-CoV-2 – it doesn’t look like other proteins your body makes. So antibodies created against the spike protein won’t harm your body, they will only target coronavirus.
However, the genomic stability of SARS-CoV-2 that scientists had first expected has been disrupted by the emergence of different variants over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. The N-terminal domain (NTD) of the virus’s spike protein has appeared as a potentially mutable structure—scientists have reported it has deletion-prone regions that may allow the virus to escape antibody neutralization. According to a report posted to medRxiv June 12, the prevalence of these deletions increased during surges of COVID-19 cases worldwide. The study’s authors also report the presence of NTD deletions in SARS-CoV-2 samples from COVID-19 patients who had either been infected before or who were already fully vaccinated.
The team hypothesizes these deletions could assist the virus in evading immunity, potentially playing a role in surges and vaccine breakthrough infections.
Why do the Vaccines continue to be given when it is known that the Vaccines are not performing as expected?
People could have huge negative things happen to their bodies and does no one feel responsible for the reprecations? Humans are being used as Guinea Pigs!
Maybe THEY want the bad side effects…?
You nailed it. I’ve been wondering all along why this virus required an entirely new type of vaccine instead of the more traditional form. This might truly be the reason. Also have been wondering why we needed a vaccine at all when original covid was over 99% survivable by the general population. I’ve thought all along the virus was accidentally released sooner than intended, and this makes me think the “vaccine” was created to get it to the level of trsnsmissability abd fatality they had originally intended.
And how then do you explain the new strains?
The new strains are from the vaccinated
This article enhances the notion of what I’ve been reading about Antibody Dependent Enhancement or ADE in which studies have been done on participants of vaccines like dengue fever. When the hosts ( human and some animals) were given a vaccine, they were protected by the original virus but when they were exposed to variants of the virus, they became very ill and some died. If that’s the case, we need to worry.
Right, those vaccinated need to worry about the variants, as well as the vaccine. Why aren’t people reading about the many herbs and drugs, anti malerial and anti parasitic that work fine..most deaths did not have to happen..it’s a crime to humanity that is happening..
The medical establishment is committing genocide by refusing to treat covid with medications we know are effective. The govt wants it that way and the medical establishment is playing along, supporting big pharmacy money-making vaccines, as usual. History will record the genocide, hopefully right before the history of the second American Revolution, I hope. Cause that’s what it’s going to take to stop this.
Antibody-dependent enhancement is a real thing, but it does not occur with any of the Covid-19 vaccines. For more info, see https://www.nebraskamed.com/COVID/antibody-dependent-enhancement-in-vaccines
The virus is a predator.
Like a jaguar, which animal, a land animal one would think, feeds on Caiman crocodiles, another predator, by diving into the water, the crocodile’s supposed element where it should be supreme, and otherwise generally is, to attack and kill the crocodile so the Jaguar can eat it, and if you doubt the efficiency of this evolved predator know to us as the Jaguar, this video of a Jaguar attacking a Caiman will dispel your doubts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrY4EUirqgE
So, yes, predators.
And in the case of COVID, which is an evolving predator, it is us who are it prey, and like the successful Jaguar, it knows its prey well, and how to defeat our defenses, if we are weak enough to allow it to, and that brings us to the natural human immune response, of which there are reams of technical information available to those who bother to seek for it to better prepare their own defenses, instead of relying on external crutches like these vaccines, which instill a false sense of security into those who take them, while the sales of which have helped boost Moderna stock as we saw in the Reuters article “S&P 500, Dow set fresh records as recovery marches forward” by Herbert Lash on
August 12, 2021, to wit:
NEW YORK, Aug 12 (Reuters) – The Dow and S&P 500 jumped to record closes for a third straight day on Thursday, with mega-cap technology stocks driving the market higher as investors warmed to jobs data showing a steady U.S. economic recovery.
Tesla Inc, Nvidia Corp and Moderna Inc also rallied on a day in which more stocks declined than advanced.

The human immune system has as its first line of defense the innate immune system, which includes defense mechanisms like increased mucous flow in the nose to carry away the virus fragments, and the fools out there who think that’s bad take some kind of antihistamine to dry up their nasal cavities, and thus, give the field to COVID without a fight.
It should be noted that the innate immune system is general – it does not learn.
That is the function of the human adaptive immune system, which is the more powerful and pathogen-specific part of the immune system.
That is the part we want as strong as possible, but as we get older, something called immunosenescence can occur, which is a natural process of immune dysfunction that occurs with age and includes remodeling of lymphoid organs, leading to changes in the immune function of the elderly, which is closely related to the development of infections, autoimmune diseases, and malignant tumors.
Nature’s way of weeding out weakness, which anyone who is an observer of nature knows natures abhors.
So it sends out predators to cull the herd, which is what I personally believe is going on right now with COVID, which isn’t getting stronger; rather, it is getting smarter and is evolving itself to be able to defeat these vaccines, which the science says are a poor substitute for a well-developed human adaptive immune system response in those who are COVID survivors, which is most of us, I would say.
So why are people getting the vaccines?
Fear?
A belief the vaccine will make them immune, so they won’t have to do any6 work on that score themselves?
The only truth right now is that nobody knows where this is headed, with the Lamba strain and more younger people now being infected and hospitalized, which itself is a change of tactics for COVID as it evolves itself into a more efficient predator.
And as an interesting aside, just recently, a doctor at the children’s hospital in Charleston, S.C. informed a person I know who had his young daughter there for breathing difficulties that since the masks have come off they are seeing a lot more pediatric upper respiratory breathing issues.
Breathing issues caused from the MASKS
“How about vaccinated people carrying COVID around with them and spreading it?”
I gave you a link to an article pointing out that vaccinated people 4 times less likely to get infected , which means there are 4 times less likely to infect others. So if I have to interact with others, I would much rather interact with other vaccinated people.
Unfortunately, the antivaxxers are not wearing a label.
And while we are on the subject of the science Joe Biden’s group of scientists are pushing vigorously in their effort to protect goofy old Joe from looking like a fool, at the same time Joe’s scientists are pushing their science, another group of equally competent scientists are pushing back on the science of Joe’s scientists as being trash science or junk science as we see by going to the CNBC article “Scientists blast U.S. push for Covid vaccine booster shots as premature, say data isn’t compelling” by Berkeley Lovelace Jr. on August 19, 2021, here we have as follows:
Scientists sharply criticized the Biden administration’s push to widely distribute Covid-19 vaccine booster shots in the U.S. next month, saying the data provided by federal health officials this week wasn’t compelling enough to recommend third shots to most of the American population right now.
end quotes
See what I am saying here, Sorin?
So which science are you going to hang your hat on, Sorin – the science of Joe Biden’s scientists, or the science of those other scientists who say the science of Joe Biden’s scientists is bogus?
Getting back to that story, we have:
U.S. health leaders say they are preparing to offer booster shots to all eligible Americans beginning the week of Sept. 20.
The plan, outlined Wednesday by CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, acting FDA Commissioner Dr. Janet Woodcock, White House chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci and other health officials, calls for a third dose eight months after people get their second shot of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.
They cited three new studies, released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, that showed their protection against Covid diminished over several months.
One study in New York from May 3 through July 25 showed that vaccine protection against infection dropped from around 92% to 80%.
Another study by the Mayo Clinic showed that Pfizer’s vaccine efficacy fell from around 76% to 42% while Moderna’s declined from 86% to 76%.
“Taken together, you can see that while the exact percentage of vaccine effectiveness over time differs depending on the cohort and settings study, the data consistently demonstrate a reduction of vaccine effectiveness against infection over time,” Walensky told reporters during a White House Covid press briefing.
end quotes
That is a summary of the science of Joe Biden’s scientists, which takes us back to CNBC and the science of these other scientists, to wit:
But scientists and other health experts said the data they cited wasn’t compelling, characterizing the administration’s push for boosters as premature.
end quotes
Actually what the Bidenistas and the CULT OF JOE are doing is properly called politics, not science – they are knee-jerking and playing CYA for goofy old Joe who made a lot of extravagant claims about his his administration, the greatest ever have ever had in this country by the way, whipping COVID, which extravagant claims are proving to be not true, which takes us back to CNBC, as follows:
While the data did suggest there was a reduction in protection against mild and moderate disease, the two-dose vaccines still held up well against severe disease and hospitalizations, scientists said.
For example, the New York study released by the CDC showed there were 9,675 infections among fully vaccinated adults, compared with 38,505 infections among unvaccinated adults during the period examined.
Among the fully vaccinated people who were infected, 1,271 were hospitalized, accounting for roughly 15% of all Covid hospitalizations.
end quotes
And there is a data point from the science you should pay some serious attention to, Sorin – the fact that in the New York study released by the CDC showing there were 9,675 infections among fully vaccinated adults, 1,271 had to be hospitalized.
So how safe are you, do you think?
Getting back to CNBC, we have:
There are some groups in the U.S. who would benefit from a third dose right now, according to Dr. Archana Chatterjee, a member of the Food and Drug Administration’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee.
Data does support the need for booster doses primarily among those who are moderate to severely immunocompromised, Chatterjee said.
Federal health officials on Friday approved giving booster shots to such people – which include cancer and HIV patients and people who have had organ transplants – after data suggested they don’t produce an adequate immune response after getting two doses.
People who are 65 or older or living in a long-term care facility may also benefit from a booster shot, said Dr. Isaac Bogoch, an infectious disease specialist at the University of Toronto,
“Do we all need a third dose of a vaccine right now?”
“No, we don’t.”
“Do some people need a third dose of a vaccine right now?”
“Yes.”
“Will we need a third dose of a vaccine in the near future?”
“Maybe,” Bogoch said in a phone interview.
Dr. Priya Sampathkumar, an epidemiologist at the Mayo Clinic, agreed, saying a booster could be needed for the general public in the future, but not right now.
“There isn’t enough data to support the third booster for all at this point,” she said.
Earlier this month, the WHO asked wealthy nations to stop distributing booster shots until at least the end of September to give poorer countries the chance to vaccinate their populations with the first rounds of shots.
Shortly after the U.S. announced its booster plan, the international agency condemned wealthy nations that support boosters for the general public.
“Boosting the entire U.S. population while poor people are dying in poor countries is tone-deaf and is widely viewed as uncaring,” Gostin said.
“It’s also a slap in the face to WHO after it called for a booster moratorium.”
U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy defended the administration’s booster plan on CNBC on Wednesday, saying health officials decided to give boosters to the general public at the eight-month mark as a way “to stay ahead of this virus.”
“We are making plans now, because No. 1, you’ve got to plan ahead, but two, we wanted the public to know what we were seeing in the data, in our effort to be transparent and open with the public,” Murthy told “The News with Shepard Smith.”

So, as the saying goes, lay down your money and take your choice!
And watch whose used air you are breathing!
That’s the only point I have to make to you, Sorin.
I hope you can hear it, but as I have said before, this is America, and here, if not elsewhere, people only hear what it is they are already predisposed to hear, and as to the rest, they disregard it, often at their peril, but such it is when it is!
To all Tyson employees please read this your life depends on it.
Nearly all COVID deaths in US are unvaccinated people. Yes, “your life depends on it”.
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/health/nearly-all-covid-deaths-in-us-are-now-among-unvaccinated
Lies lies lies
That report is from June, and is now, with time, proving to be false.
This is from 8/13
https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus/covid-19-in-virginia/covid-19-cases-by-vaccination-status/
I’m glad you said “nearly,” and nearly all COVID deaths are in people who are obese or are in poor health, which is so many people in America today, a land of some real fat people, it isn’t funny.
And vaccinated people are given a false sense of security, for one thing, since the supposed “immunity” you get from the shot is going to wane, perhaps in as short a time as six months, and according to the real science, not some liberal horse**** being bandied about on CNN or some other talk show where they spout that same Biden-esque bull**** about the unvaccinated being the cause of vaccinated people getting reinfected, the immune response of a person of a person who caught COVID and survived is likely going to be stronger and better than the puny boost you got from your shots, as we clearly see if instead of listening to hysterical horse**** on TALK RADIO or TWITTER, we go to the actual science, where we have as follows, and this should be of concern to you, Sorin, to wit:
Third mRNA dose may boost antibody quantity, but not quality
Among fully vaccinated people who never had COVID-19, getting a third dose of an mRNA vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna would likely increase levels of antibodies, but not antibodies that are better able to neutralize new virus variants, Rockefeller University researchers reported on Thursday on bioRxiv ahead of peer review.
They note that in COVID-19 survivors, the immune system’s antibodies evolve during the first year, becoming more potent and better able to resist new variants.
In 32 volunteers who never had COVID-19, they found that antibodies induced by mRNA vaccines did evolve between the first and second shots.
But five months later, vaccine-induced antibodies were “equivalent” to those seen after the second dose, with “little measurable improvement” in the antibodies’ ability to neutralize a broad variety of new variants, said coauthor Michel Nussenzweig.
Therefore, he said, giving those individuals a third dose of the same vaccine would likely result in higher levels of antibodies that remain less effective against variants.
end quotes
Yes, Sorin, a false sense of security, which is the very worst state of mind one can have when dealing with a potent predator like COVID, which again, if we bother to actually check the science, the real-deal science, not the “science” of the liberals on CNN, one finds COVID evolving itself so as to defeat the vaccines you think are going to keep you safe, to wit:
Lambda variant shows vaccine resistance
The Lambda variant of the coronavirus, first identified in Peru and now spreading in South America, is highly infectious and more resistant to vaccines than the original version of the virus the emerged from Wuhan, China, Japanese researchers have found.
In laboratory experiments, they found that three mutations in Lambda’s spike protein, known as RSYLTPGD246-253N, 260 L452Q and F490S, help it resist neutralization by vaccine-induced antibodies.
Two additional mutations, T76I and L452Q, help make Lambda highly infectious, they found.
In a paper posted on Wednesday on bioRxiv ahead of peer review, the researchers warn that with Lambda being labeled a “Variant of Interest” by the World Health Organization, rather than a “Variant of Concern,” people might not realize it is a serious ongoing threat.
Although it is not clear yet whether this variant is more dangerous than the Delta now threatening populations in many countries, senior researcher Kei Sato of the University of Tokyo believes “Lambda can be a potential threat to the human society.”
end quotes
And there you are out there, Sorin, blithely going along as if you were king of the world because you got a shot.
And according to the science, Sorin, even though you have been vaccinated, you are still a potential menace of civilized society yourself, with all kinds of COVID cap spewing out of your nostrils to reinfect those fellow travelers an d pilgrims who like you think they are immune from COVID because they got a shot:
Delta breakthrough infections likely contagious
Among people infected by the Delta variant of the coronavirus, fully vaccinated people with “breakthrough” infections may be just as likely as unvaccinated people to spread the virus to others, new research suggests.
The higher the amount of coronavirus in the nose and throat, the more likely the patient will infect others.
In one Wisconsin county, after Delta became predominant, researchers analyzed viral loads on nose-and-throat swab samples obtained when patients were first diagnosed.
They found similar viral loads in vaccinated and unvaccinated patients, with levels often high enough to allow shedding of infectious virus.
“A key assumption” underlying current regulations aimed at slowing COVID-19 transmission “is that those who are vaccinated are at very low risk of spreading the virus to others,” said study coauthor Katarina Grande of Public Health Madison & Dane County in Madison, Wisconsin.
The findings, however, indicate “that vaccinated people should take steps to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus to others,” she added.
end quotes
You see what I am saying Sorin?
So do the world a favor and keep your mask on so you aren’t spreading COVID around and causing your own personal public health crisis.
Translation: the “vaccinated” become factories producing variants of differing stripes!
The answers many need are fiund in the warnings by Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche, as summarized by Del Bigtree’s online presentation: “Vaccine Disaster Ahead “
I will go with that translation.
And if Carl Gustave Jung were still posting today on the internet, he would call this another time of mass hysteria, and an incredible time it truly is.
As Jung stated in Psychology and Religion, and it is so true today, “All one’s neighbours are in the grip of some uncontrolled and uncontrollable fear. . .”
“In lunatic asylums it is a well-known fact that patients are far more dangerous when suffering from fear than when moved by rage or hatred.”
end quotes
We truly should heed those words today, although we may now be well past the tipping point, which takes us to Jung in “The Symbolic Life,” as follows:
“Indeed, it is becoming ever more obvious that it is not famine, not earthquakes, not microbes, not cancer but man himself who is man’s greatest danger to man, for the simple reason that there is no adequate protection against psychic epidemics, which are infinitely more devastating than the worst of natural catastrophes.”
end quotes
And that is what we are in right now – a psychic epidemic caused by an all-consuming fear of just about everything under the sun, including COVID.
And let us be entirely clear here – a mass psychosis is an epidemic of madness and it occurs when a large portion of a society loses touch with reality and descends into delusions such as is the case in the United States of America today.
Two examples of mass psychoses are the American and European witch hunts of the 16th and 17th centuries and the rise of totalitarianism in the 20th century.
During the witch hunts thousands of individuals, mostly women, were killed not for any crimes they committed but because they became the scapegoats of societies gone mad, which societies are certainly capable of doing, even today, and especially in this time of COVID.
As Joost Meerloo stated in “The Rape of the Mind,” “the totalitarian systems of the 20th century represent a kind of collective psychosis.,” and there he is clearly talking about the Cult-like Democrat party in our times today.
He then continues as follows:
“Whether gradually or suddenly, reason and common human decency are no longer possible in such a system: there is only a pervasive atmosphere of terror, and a projection of ‘the enemy,’ imagined to be ‘in our midst.’”
“Thus society turns on itself, urged on by the ruling authorities.”
end quotes
And there he nails it as to where we are in this country right at this very moment, as the Democrats do their damndest to further divide us, just as they did back in the 1850’s on the run-up to the first Civil War against the secessionist and insurrectionist Democrats which takes us back to Carl Jung in “After the Catastrophe,” to wit:
“The phenomenon we have witnessed in Germany was nothing less than [an] outbreak of epidemic insanity. . .”
“No one knew what was happening to him, least of all of the Germans, who allowed themselves to be driven to the slaughterhouse by their leading psychopaths like hypnotized sheep.”
end quotes
Just like the United States of America today where another outbreak of epidemic insanity is occurring, and those people so affected vote for who the next American president will be, which takes us to Anthony Storr in “Solitude: A Return to the Self,” as follows:
“There are extremely primitive, irrational mental forces at work in the minds of all of us which are usually overlaid and controlled by reason, but which find overt expression in the behaviour of those whom we call mentally ill, and which also manifest themselves in the behaviour of normal people when under threat or other forms of stress.”
end quotes
Those who wish to control, and here we are talking about the Democrats, are well aware of that, and so seek to exploit it, and today COVID is the ideal vehicle to put people under threat so as to affect and manipulate their behavior.
“Anything new should always be questioned and tested with caution, for it may very easily turn out to be only a new disease.”
“That is why true progress is impossible without mature judgment.”
“But a well-balanced judgment requires a firm stand point, and this in turn can only rest on a sound knowledge of what has been.”
“The man who is unconscious of the historical context and lets slip his link with the past is in constant danger of succumbing to the crazes and delusions engendered by all novelties.”
“It is a tragedy of all innovators that they empty out the baby with the bath-water.”
– Jung (1942)
“You see what I am saying Sorin?
So do the world a favor and keep your mask on so you aren’t spreading COVID around and causing your own personal public health crisis.”
I do use my mask. The most of the hospitalization and deaths are still from unvaccinated people.
https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus/covid-19-in-virginia/covid-19-cases-by-vaccination-status/
I had a recent COVID test and it was negative, Sorin.
Ergo, I am not spreading COVID.
It is the vaccinated people who are spreading the COVID.
They are a clear and present danger to us all, and here, let me take you to an official U.S. government press briefing where we have the U.S. government, which knows so much more than us common folks, it just ain’t funny, telling us as follows about these vaccines, to wit:
Press Briefing by White House COVID-19 Response Team and Public Health Officials
AUGUST 18, 2021
11:10 A.M. EDT
MR. ZIENTS: Good morning, and thank you for joining us.
Today, the main topic of our briefing is our plan for booster shots.
SURGEON GENERAL MURTHY: Well, thanks, Jeff.
And it’s good to be with all of you again today.
Today, I want to update you about where we are regarding boosters for fully vaccinated individuals.
The COVID-19 vaccines that are authorized in the United States have been remarkably effective, even against the widespread Delta variant.
But we know that even highly effective vaccines become less effective over time.
Our goal has been to determine when that time might come for the COVID-19 vaccines so we can make a plan to take proactive steps to extend and enhance the protection the vaccines are giving us.
Having reviewed the most current data, it is now our clinical judgment that the time to lay out a plan for COVID-19 boosters is now.
Recent data makes clear that protection against mild and moderate disease has decreased over time.
This is likely due to both waning immunity and the strength of the widespread Delta variant.
Even though this new data — even though this new data affirms that vaccine protection remains high against the worst outcomes of COVID, we are concerned that this pattern of decline we are seeing will continue in the months ahead, which could lead to reduced protection against severe disease, hospitalization, and death.
That is why, today, we are announcing our plan to stay ahead of this virus by being prepared to offer COVID-19 booster shots to fully vaccinated adults 18 years and older.
end quotes
Did I say something earlier about a false sense of security?
These vaccines are barely out and we are finding out how weak they really are, with a booster required after only eight months, which takes us back to the presser, as follows:
SURGEON GENERAL MURTHY: I want to emphasize that this decision was not made lightly.
It was made with careful consideration by the top medical and public health experts and the Department of Health and Human Services.
It was informed by data, thoughtful analysis, and by our collective years of experience addressing illness and epidemics.
end quotes
See, Sorin, by staying abreast of the science like I do on a daily basis, I can stay rational, and not get all hysterical about the end of the world coming and the sky falling and all of that claptrap being bandied about in the media today, which again takes us back to the presser, to wit:
DR. WALENSKY: Good morning, Doctor.
Good morning, everyone.
And Dr. — as Dr. Murthy mentioned, I want to provide an update on vaccine effectiveness.
Today, we are releasing three articles in MMWR with data I will now describe that are helping to inform our booster plans.
Recognizing that for most vaccines there is a reduction in protection over time, we have been analyzing the data closely from a number of cohorts in the United States and around the world to understand how long protection from the initial COVID-19 vaccine series will last.
Examining numerous cohorts through the end of July and early August, three points are now very clear.
First, vaccine-induced protection against SARS-CoV-2 infection begins to decrease over time.
Second, vaccine effectiveness against severe disease, hospitalization, and death remains relatively high.
And third, vaccine effectiveness is generally decreased against the Delta variant.
Vaccine effectiveness in May, during — early, during the vaccine rollout in the state, was 92 percent.
In the later months, further from vaccination, vaccine effectiveness declined to 80 percent.
These data will be published in the MMWR today.
The Mayo Clinic analysis looked at vaccine effectiveness for both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines among over 80,000 vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals across all age groups with data through July 16th.
Like we saw in the New York data, vaccine effectiveness against infection declined over time — in this case, from 76 percent to 42 percent for those who received the Pfizer vaccine, and from 86 percent to 76 percent for those who received the Moderna vaccine.
These data are currently available on a preprint server.
Today, CDC will also publish data from our National Healthcare Safety Network, a nursing home cohort where we analyzed more than 85,000 weekly reports from more than 14,900 facilities.
Weekly COVID-19 case counts were used to evaluate vaccine effectiveness over time.
These data demonstrate that vaccine effectiveness declined over time — from 75 percent in March, to 53 percent as recently as August 1st, 2021.
This represents a substantial decline in vaccine effectiveness against infection among those who are most vulnerable, including during months where Delta was the predominant circulating variant.
Taken together, you can see that while the exact percentage of vaccine effectiveness over time differs depending on the cohort and settings study, the data consistently demonstrate a reduction of vaccine effectiveness against infection over time.
end quotes
So says the science anyway.
“Ergo, I am not spreading COVID. It is the vaccinated people who are spreading the COVID.”
Vaccinated people are 4 times less likely to get infected (and spread it) and 14 times less likely to be hospitalized. YOU don’t understand science. You just copy and paste stuff from the web.
https://www.wfla.com/community/health/coronavirus/fully-vaccinated-people-4-times-less-likely-to-contract-covid-19-14-times-less-likely-to-be-hospitalized/
Hey, while you’re on the subject of cutting and pasting, a technique intelligent and efficient people employ to make them far more effective than they might otherwise be if they had to type out everything instead of importing it, which is so much more efficient, how about this:
Press Briefing by White House COVID-19 Response Team and Public Health Officials
AUGUST 18, 2021
11:10 A.M. EDT
MR. ZIENTS: Good morning, and thank you for joining us.
Today, the main topic of our briefing is our plan for booster shots.
President Biden committed to the American people that he would do everything in his power to end this pandemic.
And from his first day in office, the President has marshalled a wartime effort to do exactly that.
end quotes
That’s political horse****, Sorin.
And I am detecting more than a whiff of panic in that press conference, myself, which has Zients furiously trying to cover over the failure of the vaccines in order to protect Joe Biden, his political boss, instead of the American people, because on 28 April 2021, Joe Biden appeared before both houses of congress, and the American people and the people of the world and the universe beyond, all of whom look to Joe Biden as a font of truth as well as someone who can protect the soul of America, which is important, afterall, and this is what he said (more cutting and pasting here) at that time, just one hundred fourteen (114) days ago, to wit:
Parents are seeing smiles on their kids’ faces as they go back to school because teachers and school bus drivers, cafeteria workers have been vaccinated.
Grandparents hugging their children and grandchildren instead of pressing their hands against a window to say goodbye.
It means everything to both of them.
There’s still more work to do to beat this virus.
We can’t let our guard down now.
But tonight, I can say because of you — the American people – our progress these past 100 days against one of the worst pandemics in history is one of the greatest logistical achievements our country has ever seen.
end quotes
And one hundred fourteen days later, the whole house of cards is falling and Joe’s vaccination scheme which benefits BIG PHARM is unraveling.
Now, I could have said the same thing without cutting and pasting, but why?
Why take twice as long to do something that can better be done in half the time?
And my goodness, Sorin, but you are on a roll in here, or is it a tear?
Anyway, while you have us on the subject of cutting and pasting, and vaccinated people carrying COVID around the country with them like a bunch of “TYPHOID MARYS,” how about this story from CNBC entitled “Sens. Hickenlooper, Wicker and King test positive for Covid after being fully vaccinated” by Thomas Franck on August 19, 2021 where we have as follows:
Sens. Roger Wicker, Angus King, and John Hickenlooper, who are all vaccinated for the coronavirus, tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday after experiencing symptoms.
Wicker, King and Hickenlooper are the latest in a string of prominent politicians to announce positive coronavirus tests in recent weeks despite being fully vaccinated.
Others include Republicans Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas.
end quotes
How is that for some cutting and pasting, Sorin?
And if they can’t keep those very important and very high ranking people safe with these vaccines, which may be nothing more than horse piss mixed with rat feces for all you know, then why on earth should we common people trust that we will be kept safe?
Getting back to that story, I have cut and pasted some more for you, as follows, because you seem nice:
“Senator Wicker is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, is in good health, and is being treated by his Tupelo-based physician,” Phillip Waller, Wicker’s communications director, said in a statement.
end quotes
Note the words “being treated,” which raises the question of how he is being treated, since us common folks have been told that there is no treatment for COVID and if we common folks catch it, we are on our own.
Getting back to the story:
The 70-year-old Wicker “is isolating, and everyone with whom Senator Wicker has come in close contact recently has been notified.”
end quotes
See what I am talking about, Sorin, with respect to vaccinated people being COVID carriers?
Getting back to the story:
Wicker is a Republican from Mississippi, King is an independent from Maine and Hickenlooper is a Democrat from Colorado.
“Despite all my efforts, when I began feeling mildly feverish yesterday, I took a test this morning at my doctor’s suggestion, and it came back positive,” King, 77, said in a statement.
“While I am not feeling great, I’m definitely feeling much better than I would have without the vaccine.”
end quotes
Which is a bull**** political statement because he has no idea whatsoever how he would feel if he didn’t have the vaccine, which takes us back to the story as follows:
The three positive tests came as the Biden administration ramps up efforts to encourage Americans to seek booster shots starting next month amid a growing pool of data that shows vaccine protections fade over time.

“Corn Pop” has a heavy lift, is my thought, trying to get people to stick that **** in their arm at the same time we are hearing about these vaccinated politicians catching COVID, which again takes us back to the story, and the bull**** political statements, to wit:
“After experiencing mild symptoms, I tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19,” Hickenlooper said in a statement Thursday afternoon.
“I’m feeling much better and will continue to isolate at the direction of the Congressional Attending Physician.”
“I’m grateful for the vaccine (and the scientists behind it) for limiting my symptoms and allowing us to continue our work for Colorado.”

Doesn’t that syrup make you want to gag, Sorin?
Getting back to the story:
Three of Washington’s top health experts on Wednesday provided further details on how the immune system’s protections wane over time.
It’s now “very clear” that immunity starts to fall after the initial two doses, and with the dominance of the delta variant, “we are starting to see evidence of reduced protection against mild and moderate disease,” according to a statement signed by CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, acting FDA Commissioner Dr. Janet Woodcock, White House chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci and other U.S. health leaders.
Health experts blame its rapid spread for the uptick in case counts and deaths as a growing number of so-called “breakthrough” cases show fully vaccinated people are still at risk.
Is there a point you are trying to make Paul?
Not to you, obviously, Sorin!
Your mind is too far closed for any points to be made to you.
It is your conditioning – being conditioned and indoctrinated from the time you were still in the womb to listen only to what the government says, to believe what the government says is the truth and the only truth there is, and to obey the government without question.
And I am accepting of that, myself.
You cannot at this late stage of your life change that conditioning which mentally cripples you so that if I had a point to make, and why post otherwise is my thought, it would sail right over your head because my name is not Tony Fauci.

“Tackling immunosenescence to improve COVID-19 outcomes and vaccine response in older adults”
Lynne S Cox, Ilaria Bellantuono, Janet M Lord, Elizabeth Sapey, Joan B Mannick, Linda Partridge et al.
Published: November, 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic serves as a potent reminder that older people are at very high risk of adverse outcomes from infectious disease because of comorbidities associated with ageing and decreased immunological competence (immunosenescence).
Care home residents are particularly at risk because physiological vulnerability is compounded by cohabitation with other frail adults, increasing exposure and risk of infection.
Immunosenescence not only increases susceptibility to disease but also blunts the effectiveness of vaccines — one of our most powerful tools for preventing infections — with annual influenza vaccinations only 30–40% effective in the most at-risk older populations.
In the race for creating a vaccine against COVID-19, immunosenescence is most likely to present a disincentive to the inclusion of older people in trials, and vaccine formulations effective in younger people (<65 years) might not engender immunity in older populations.
Finding ways to alleviate immunosenescence is a priority to improve the health of ageing populations, but to do so requires a robust understanding of the underlying causes of age-related decline and immunosenescence.
Biological ageing results in loss of physiological reserve — the capacity of a cell, tissue, or organ system to function beyond its basal level in response to increases in physiological demands.
This loss of reserve is now known to be underpinned by a discrete set of biological mechanisms that can be therapeutically targeted.
One such mechanism is cellular senescence, leading to the accumulation of dysfunctional cells that secrete tissue-degrading proteases plus pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines, causing local and systemic harm.
Senescence of immune cells (eg, via proliferative exhaustion), combined with depletion of naive T cells through thymic atrophy, exacerbates age-related loss of immunity to novel pathogens and vaccines.
Approaches aimed at restoring immune function and improving tissue and organ physiology are thus likely to be important in mitigating the catastrophic effect of infections on older people.
The majority of current experimental drug trials — both for COVID-19 and for non-COVID infections — do not include older adults with multimorbidity.
This exclusion of older people from trials must change if we are to understand the efficacy of new drugs in this population group who are at the highest risk.
Immunology Basics
What is Immunity?
Immunity is your body’s ability to recognize germs to prevent them from causing illness.
The immune system’s job is to help identify and eliminate dangerous germs that enter the body before they can cause disease or damage.
There are two types of immunity: innate and adaptive.
Innate Immunity
Innate immunity is the immune system that is present when you are born.
It is your body’s first line of defense against germs.
It includes physical barriers, such as skin and mucous membranes, and special cells and proteins that can recognize and kill germs.
The problem with these special cells and proteins is that they can kill a germ, but once the germ is dead, the innate immune system forgets it.
It does not communicate any information about the germ to the rest of the body.
Without this information, the body cannot prepare itself to fight this germ if it should reinfect the body.
Adaptive Immunity
Adaptive immunity is protection that your body builds when it meets and remembers antigens, which is another name for germs and other foreign substances in the body.
When your body recognizes antigens, it produces antibodies to fight the antigens.
It takes about 14 days for your body to make antibodies.
More importantly, the body memorizes this fight so that if its meets the same antigen again, it can recognize and attack more quickly.
Antibody production is one of the most important ways that immunity is developed.
I don’t understand science?
Given I possess an advanced college degree based on my understanding of science, and given that I was inducted into a scientific research society because of proven competence and knowledge of how to conduct scientific research, how would you explain that, given I am not a senator’s son like Hunter Biden?
Is it your premise that they hand those credentials out in Cracker-Jax boxes?
Anyway, that’s all immaterial what you think about how I personally earned those credentials, because this is not about me; rather it is about my knowledge of what science is, and what science is not, and that takes us back to the Press Briefing by White House COVID-19 Response Team and Public Health Officials on August 18, 2021, where we had that Biden-esque clown Zients praising the prowess and vigor of Joe Biden in a what comes across as a superhuman effort on Joe’s part to save our lives and keep us safe while he protects and safeguard the soul of America, followed by Vivek Hallegere Murthy, born July 10, 1977, who is an American physician in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps and who has served as the 19th and 21st Surgeon General of the United States under President Obama and President Biden, being canned by Trump in between, and he co-chaired then-President-elect Joe Biden’s COVID-19 Advisory Board from November 2020 to January 2021, alongside former Food and Drug Administration commissioner David A. Kessler and Yale public health professor Marcella Nunez-Smith, and on December 7, “Corn Pop” Biden announced Murthy would return to the role of U.S. Surgeon General, so that two-hundred fifty-four (254) days later, on 18 August 2021, he could appear in a press conference to give us the following dose of real science, to wit:
SURGEON GENERAL MURTHY: Well, thanks, Jeff.
Recent data makes clear that protection against mild and moderate disease has decreased over time.
This is likely due to both waning immunity and the strength of the widespread Delta variant.
Even though this new data — even though this new data affirms that vaccine protection remains high against the worst outcomes of COVID, we are concerned that this pattern of decline we are seeing will continue in the months ahead, which could lead to reduced protection against severe disease, hospitalization, and death.
end quotes
Hello!
Earth to Sorin: do you read me?
Or is the message being garbled by cosmic rays?
Saying again, Joe Biden’s own personal surgeon general of the United States of America, the government of which we know for an absolute certainly never has lied to us, and never would lie to us, or even consider lying to us, is himself concerned that this pattern of decline we all are seeing with these COVID vaccines will continue in the months ahead, which could lead to reduced protection against severe disease, hospitalization, and death.
Are you following that, Sorin?
In a short amount of time, all the PRO-VACCERS like yourself are going to be as bad off as the unvaccinated, or maybe worse, with reduced protection against severe disease, hospitalization, and death, which you won’t know you have, the reduced protection, I mean, until it is too late, and there you are, just another statistic in a CDC computer somewhere, a mere blip in the census data.
And Sorin, yes, I truly do understand that science being put forth by Joe Biden’s surgeon general.
The question is, do you?
Or are you going to dispute what he is saying in defense of Joe Biden, who is looking ever more goofy and out of touch with reality as the days pass?
In a short amount of time, all the PRO-VACCERS like yourself are going to be as bad off as the unvaccinated, or maybe worse…
There is no scientific proof or even suspicion that vaccinated people will be worse off then unvaccinated people. I never expected the vaccine to work indefinitely, I assumed I’d need to get vaccinated periodically, like with flu vaccines.
You keep foaming at the mouth about Biden. I never mentioned his name in my vaccine comments.
My goodness, Sorin, but you are testy this morning!
Did I ever say that you mentioned Joe Biden in any of your posts?
And the answer is of course not, so you are innocent, Sorin, on that score.
As to your comment “There is no scientific proof or even suspicion that vaccinated people will be worse off then unvaccinated people,” which I appreciate, by the way, as it helps to educate people, which this is all about, what I said, as you quoted, was as follows:
In a short amount of time, all the PRO-VACCERS like yourself are going to be as bad off as the unvaccinated, or maybe worse…
end quotes
Note the use of the word “maybe,” which in the English language, when used as an adverb, means “perhaps; possibly,” and when used as a noun means “a mere possibility or probability,” so my statement was conditional, Sorin, and my goodness, of course there is NOT YET any scientific proof that vaccinated people will be worse off then unvaccinated people, because we haven’t got there yet, and scientific proof is based on what is, not on speculation as to what might be, which takes us right back to the expert, to wit:.
SURGEON GENERAL MURTHY: Recent data makes clear that protection against mild and moderate disease has decreased over time.
Even though this new data — even though this new data affirms that vaccine protection remains high against the worst outcomes of COVID, we are concerned that this pattern of decline we are seeing will continue in the months ahead, which could lead to reduced protection against severe disease, hospitalization, and death.
end quotes
Key words, Sorin: “this pattern of decline we are seeing,” where “decline” means a gradual and continuous loss of strength, numbers, quality, or value.
Note the word “continuous.”
And you won’t know when you have dropped below the threshold.
And the science, which I have posted above, says that the booster shot is not going to give you a stronger immune response, whereas the person who has had COVID, and that is likely a large number of people, will have natural immunity based on proper functioning of their innate and adaptive immune systems IF they have taken care of themselves, exercised, eaten properly, are positive in their mood.
Read it as you will, Sorin and govern YOUR life accordingly as to what you think the science is saying to you.
And no, Sorin, I am hardly “foaming at the mouth” about “Corn Pop” Biden.
That would be CNN in the timely article “Crisis of competence facing Joe Biden” by Chris Cillizza, CNN Editor-at-large, on 17 August 2021, as follows:
At the heart of Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign was a single word: competence.
Seven months into his first term, however, Biden is faced with nothing short of a crisis of that competence, beset on a number of fronts with developments that it appears all of his experience and know-how didn’t prevent.
While the crisis in Afghanistan is front and center in this reexamining of Biden’s competence argument, it’s far from the only data point in that conversation.
Remember back in May, Biden announced that the CDC had said vaccinated people no longer needed to wear masks indoors — a development he described as a “great milestone?”
Just two months later, however, Biden was forced to reverse himself amid a surge in cases caused by the Delta variant.
And while Biden was congratulating himself and the country this spring on the number of people who had been vaccinated against Covid-19, his administration came up short of its oft-stated goal of 70% of eligible adults with at least one shot of the vaccine by July 4.
But there’s no question that the dominant narrative of the late spring — the Biden administration’s competent management of a nationwide vaccine program and the retreat of the virus — has taken a major hit.
Given all of that, it’s no surprise that Biden’s poll numbers have taken a hit of late.
Biden’s 50% job approval at the end of last month was the lowest of his presidency — as measured by Gallup.
And that was before the disaster in Afghanistan, which is dominating national news coverage, and the full scope of the surge in Covid-19 was apparent.
Biden’s promise to the American people was that his years in public life had best prepared him to avoid the chaos that defined the Trump era.
But at the moment, chaos is winning over competence.
And that is a major problem for Biden and his administration.

Joe Biden has a political problem with respect to COVID, which is exactly what I said @ AUGUST 20, 2021 AT 6:28 PM, to wit:
And I am detecting more than a whiff of panic in that press conference, myself, which has Zients furiously trying to cover over the failure of the vaccines in order to protect Joe Biden, his political boss, instead of the American people …

The very instant politics enters the picture and interacts with “science,” science then becomes politicized.
If I am “foaming at the mouth” about anything, it would be that – Joe Biden turning science into a painted whore for his administration, which is exactly what we are seeing here with Joe’s team of scientists, to wit:
Press Release – President-elect Joe Biden Announces Key Members of Health Team
December 07, 2020
This deeply qualified, diverse team will be ready on day one to contain the COVID pandemic; ensure the safe, free, and equitable distribution of vaccines; make sure every American has access to affordable, quality health care; and guard against the full range of health threats facing our nation.
WASHINGTON – Today, President-elect Joe Biden announced key nominations and appointments of his health team, including Xavier Becerra, Secretary of Health and Human Services; Dr. Vivek Murthy, Surgeon General; Dr. Rochelle Walensky, Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith, COVID-19 Equity Task Force Chair; Dr. Anthony Fauci, Chief Medical Adviser to the President on COVID-19, who will also continue in his role as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; and Jeff Zients, Coordinator of the COVID-19 Response and Counselor to the President.
In addition, former White House and Pentagon senior advisor Natalie Quillian will serve as Deputy Coordinator of the COVID-19 Response.
This is a team that looks like America and brings together leaders with deep experience in public health, government, and crisis management.
They are experts in their fields who will restore public trust in the pandemic response by leading with facts, science, integrity, and a laser-focus on bringing COVID-19 under control.
Together, they will advise President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris on implementing a whole-of-government response to surge testing and tracing to slow the spread of the virus, protect frontline workers, and ensure the safe and efficient delivery of treatments and vaccines at no cost to the American people.
And, they will help fulfill the President-elect’s vision of making health care a right — not a privilege — for all Americans, building on the Affordable Care Act to lower health care costs and tackle prescription drug costs.
President-elect Joe Biden said, “This trusted and accomplished team of leaders will bring the highest level of integrity, scientific rigor, and crisis-management experience to one of the toughest challenges America has ever faced — getting the pandemic under control so that the American people can get back to work, back to their lives, and back to their loved ones.”
“This team of world-class medical experts and public servants will be ready on day one to mobilize every resource of the federal government to expand testing and masking, oversee the safe, equitable, and free distribution of treatments and vaccines, re-open schools and businesses safely, lower prescription drug and other health costs and expand affordable health care to all Americans, and rally the country and restore the belief that there is nothing beyond America’s capacity if we do it together.”
Vice President-elect Kamala Harris said, “Containing this coronavirus pandemic and opening our economy responsibly require listening to experts and leaders like the ones we are bringing together on this health care team.”
“They are some of America’s top physicians, public health experts, and crisis-tested public servants, and they reflect the very best of our nation.”
“This is the team that the American people need and deserve to make quality, affordable health care available to all and to help make sure safe and effective vaccines — as well as testing and treatment — are free and equitably distributed.”
“President-elect Biden and I will work closely with this team to marshal the full resources and capabilities of the United States of America to save lives, contain this pandemic, and build better preparedness for future pandemics and other health threats.”

And they now have a political problem because of how they ran their mouths back then, spewing out a lot of political horse**** and pure hot air.
And what is this horse**** about “This is a team that looks like America …?”
How does that connect with science?
Answer: it doesn’t!
Just more political bull****!
Maybe you like being fed political bull****, but as for me, I truly have had a gut full!
My thoughts, anyway.
My point?
How about vaccinated people carrying COVID around with them and spreading it?
And how do you think COVID is becoming smarter, Sorin, with respect to defeating the vaccines?
Wouldn’t they be learning from the vaccines themselves?
Happens with bacteria, afterall – the ones that become immune to antibiotics …
Inventor of mRNA technology asks CDC/experts to change current covid-19 policy:
“… Dr. Robert Malone explained on the John Solomon Reports podcast Monday that new COVID-19 variants “are able to bypass, to a significant extent, the protection afforded by the current vaccines,” Just the News reports.
As vaccinated peoples’ immune systems try to fight off the virus, “what that’s going to do is create a setup where once we do have a fully functional viral escape mutant, there will be no barriers to it spreading rapidly through the human population and, basically, completely abrogating any benefits associated with the vaccines,” he warned.
“What we had been told, that these vaccines are protective, they’re going to protect us, they’re going to prevent us from getting infected, they’re going to prevent us from having virus replicate in our bodies, and they’re going to prevent us from infecting other people, those are not true,” Malone said.
“And there has been a variety of statements to the effect that those responsible for these effects, this viral evolution, are the unvaccinated.”
“That’s just not true,” he urged….”

People who are terrified of COVID and who can’t think clearly as a result mistakenly think the vaccines are some typ of miracle cure, which is horse****, which is why the government is now coming out with booster shots for those like Sorin who were vaccinated, which takes us to the real science, not the bull**** science a TV doctor like Tony Fauci spouts to the ignorant like Sorin, in the CNBC story “Here’s why herd immunity from Covid is ‘mythical’ with the delta variant” by Holly Ellyatt on August 12, 2021, where we have the counter to Sorin’s hysteria, to wit:
LONDON — Achieving herd immunity with Covid vaccines when the highly infectious delta variant is spreading is “not a possibility,” a leading epidemiologist said.
Experts agree on several reasons why such a goal — where overall immunity in a population is reached and the spread of the virus is stopped — is not likely.
end quotes
Note the plural of experts, not just one expert, which takes us back to reality, as follows:
Sir Andrew Pollard, head of the Oxford Vaccine Group, told British lawmakers Tuesday that as Covid vaccines did not stop the spread of the virus entirely — with vaccinated people still able to be infected and transmit the virus — the idea of achieving herd immunity was “mythical.”
end quotes
But that won’t stop Sorin from believing and preaching otherwise, which again takes us back to the science, to wit:
“I think we are in a situation here with this current variant where herd immunity is not a possibility because it still infects vaccinated individuals,” said Pollard, one of the lead researchers in the creation of the AstraZeneca-University of Oxford vaccine.
end quotes
So much for the vaccine making you immune to COVID, which again takes us back to the science:
“The problem with this virus is [it is] not measles.”
“If 95% of people were vaccinated against measles, the virus cannot transmit in the population,” he told the U.K.’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on the coronavirus.
Pollard said that while Covid vaccines might slow the spread of the virus — because fully vaccinated but infected people appeared, in studies, to shed less virus, giving the virus less opportunity to spread — new variants were likely to emerge that would also spread.
“I suspect that what the virus will throw up next is a variant which is perhaps even better at transmitting among vaccinated populations and so that’s even more of a reason not to be making a vaccine program around herd immunity.”
People who are fully vaccinated are highly protected against severe infection, hospitalization and death caused by the virus.
end quotes
Which is a bull**** statement because nobody knows what would happen to those same people if they weren’t vaccinated, because people who are healthy and unvaccinated who catch COVID are also highly unlikely to get a severe infection requiring hospitalization or causing death by the virus, and will have a stronger immune response, as a result, than those PRO-VACCERS who got the shot, which again takes us back to the story, to wit:.
Dr. Andrew Freedman, reader in infectious disease at Cardiff Medical School, told CNBC on Thursday that he agreed with Pollard’s assessment that herd immunity was unlikely.
“The delta variant is highly transmissible meaning that the proportion of people needing to be fully vaccinated for herd immunity is probably not achievable,” he said.
“The vaccines provide very effective protection against severe disease/hospitalisation/death but are less effective in preventing infection, mild disease and transmission, especially for the delta variant.”
end quotes
So get vaccinated and still get sick, which again takes us back to the science, to wit:
In addition, experts don’t yet know how long immunity to Covid lasts, although there is clinical evidence that immunity against the virus wanes over time.
Danny Altmann, professor of immunology at Imperial College London, told CNBC that he also agreed with Pollard and that the herd immunity mathematical model could not easily be applied to an “unprecedented” virus like Covid that was still little understood with diverging, globally circulating variants emerging.
“The whole herd immunity thing was one of those bits of medical textbook-speak that was adopted early on by policy advisors, then the press, then the public and has throughout been contorted and over-simplified,” he said Thursday.
If somebody wants the shot, or feels for some reason they need the shot, for example because the Pope told them they should trust BIG PHARM as opposed to God this time around, out of love, then by all means, they should get the shot.
What they shouldn’t do is to get all high and mighty about it, as if getting that crap in the arm makes them superior to someone who doesn’t want that **** inside their body messing up the body’s natural immune system.
And unless someone has been living in a cave somewhere in an uncharted wilderness where no one else ever goes, it is difficult to imagine that there is anybody not born yesterday who has not already been exposed to COVID, and has had it with no symptoms, as is the case with many, or mild symptoms, as is again the case with many.
“What they shouldn’t do is to get all high and mighty about it, as if getting that crap in the arm makes them superior to someone who doesn’t want that”
Paul, if those unvaccinated people just stayed home alone until they either died or made it, I would have no issues with anyone not taking the shot. But they don’t, the moment they get sick, they rush to the hospital, cough on everyone and take nearly all resources and raise the cost of healthcare for everyone. See my link above on how most of the hospitalized people are unvaccinated.
Sorin, I know you are sincere in your beliefs, and while I appreciate your link, being of a scientific bent myself, and being certainly qualified to understand the science as well as Tony Fauci, the federal government employee who plays an infectious disease specialist on network television, I too am keeping abreast of developments.
As to your statement “the moment they get sick, they rush to the hospital, cough on everyone and take nearly all resources and raise the cost of healthcare for everyone,” you don’t know that yourself, and it comes across as hysterical hype, as a result.
Instead of feeding us hysterical hype about who is raising the cost of healthcare for us all, which of course is corporate medicine, as they will never have enough profits in our for-profit “healthcare” system that does not keep people either well or healthy, why don’t you give us some actual statistics as to hospital usage, such as the AARP article “Most Common Causes of Hospital Admissions for Older Adults” by Dorothy Foltz-Gray in an AARP Bulletin where we learn as follows:
No one wants to go into a hospital for any reason, medical errors or not.
But alas, as we age, hospital visits are likely in our future.
Below are some leading reasons that older adults get admitted to the hospital.
Cardiac arrhythmias: These heartbeat irregularities such as atrial fibrillation can cause palpitations, a sudden drop in blood pressure that can lead to unconsciousness, stroke and even sudden cardiac arrest.
In 2009, 543,000 adults over the age of 65 were hospitalized for an irregular heartbeat.
Congestive heart failure: In 2009, 751,000 adults over 65 entered the hospital for congestive heart failure.
Why so prominent?
One reason is that people are living longer with heart disease, which over time damages or weakens the heart muscle, which can lead to heart failure — the heart’s inability to pump well.
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD): In 2008, 822,500 people with COPD, age 40 and over, entered a hospital.
Smoking is the primary culprit behind COPD, an umbrella term that encompasses emphysema and chronic bronchitis.
Coronary atherosclerosis: In 2009, 753,000 adults over 45 were hospitalized for coronary atherosclerosis, or a blockage of blood flow to the heart from the build-up of fatty plaque.
That could cause a heart attack, resulting in heart damage, or simply chest pain from lessened blood flow that hasn’t yet led to permanent damage.
Diabetes: In 2009, 655,000 adults entered the hospital because of diabetes.
Being overweight, inactive and age 45 and older are three prominent risk factors for type 2, or adult-onset, diabetes.
Common reasons for hospitalization due to diabetes include strokes, heart attacks, ulcers and dehydration from elevated blood sugar levels.
Infection: Pneumonia is the most common infection but urinary tract infections are common as well.
For Americans over age 85, there were 137,000 hospitalizations for urinary tract infections in 2009 and 148,000 for septicemia — blood poisoning from bacteria.
Medication problems: Drug reactions of some sort led to 1.9 million hospital stays in 2008.
Medications most commonly involved: corticosteroids, blood thinners, sedatives and sleep aids.
Pneumonia: Pneumonia caused 886,000 admissions in 2009.
As we age, our waning immune system makes us more vulnerable to both bacterial and viral pneumonia.
Other conditions like diabetes, stroke and flu can predispose you to pneumonia as well.
Stroke: In 2008, there were 892,300 hospitalizations for stroke or other conditions related to blood vessels in the brain.
When blood flow is cut off to part of the brain — because of a clot in an artery or a blood vessel that burst — the result is a stroke, which kills brain cells and can lead to death.

What about all those people, Sorin?
Or don’t they exist in your world of fear?
And believe me, I can understand your fear of the unknown – it afflicts many people; it’s just that I don’t share it, and I am over 70.
And then we have an NCBI technical or academic paper entitled “Reasons for Being Admitted to the Hospital through the Emergency Department, 2003
Statistical Brief #2” by Anne Elixhauser, PhD and Pamela Owens, PhD. published: February 2006, where we have as follows:
Introduction
In 2003, over 16 million patients entered the hospital through the emergency department—roughly 44 percent of all hospital stays or 55 percent of hospital stays excluding pregnancy and childbirth.
Policymakers and health care professionals are concerned about potential overuse and inappropriate use of emergency rooms (EDs).
There is also concern that emergency departments care for patients with chronic conditions who may not be receiving adequate outpatient follow-up to control their conditions.
This Statistical Brief presents data from the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP) on the most common reasons in 2003 for all hospitalizations that began in the ED.
Findings
Highlights
Circulatory disorders (diseases of the heart and blood vessels) were the most frequent reason for admission to the hospital through the ED, accounting for 26.3 percent of all such admissions; injuries accounted for 11.4 percent.
The top 20 specific conditions accounted for more than half of all hospital admissions through the ED, with pneumonia as the single most common specific condition at nearly one million (5.7 percent) of all such admissions.
Complications of procedures, devices, implants, and grafts ranked as the ninth most common reason for admission through the ED and included postoperative infections, malfunction of orthopedic devices, and infection of arteriovenous fistulas used for dialysis.
The top 20 specific conditions admitted through the ED included several chronic conditions: chronic obstructive lung disease, asthma, diabetes, and mood disorders.
Also included were fluid and electrolyte disorders; urinary, skin, and blood infections; gall bladder disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, and appendicitis; and hip fracture.
While up to 82 percent of the most frequent acute conditions were admitted through the ED, a large percentage of chronic conditions were also admitted through the ED; for example, 72 percent of cases with congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive lung disease, and asthma were such admissions.

Is it your premise, Sorin, that now that COVID is here, none of those other causes of hospital admissions straining the cost of for-profit healthcare in this sorry nation full of unhealthy, obese people who don’t bother to take care of themselves exist any more?
And yes, I will admit that the studies are somewhat dated, but I will not admit that those other causes of hospital admission have ceased to exist, because I know they haven’t!
“and being certainly qualified to understand the science as well as Tony Fauci,”
This is essentially what is wrong with the world. People like you make these absurd statements without skipping a beat. Fauci and essentially any of the people that work on vaccines forgot 1000 times more about medicine then YOU will ever know.

You’re so silly, Sorin!
A barrel of laughs!
As for me, I’m a qualified public health engineer at the associate level, which means someone qualified by experience and by exam to be the health officer for over a hundred thousand people in a health district.
A public health engineer is someone who applies engineering principles, i.e. applied science, for the detection, evaluation, control and management of those factors in the environment which influence the public’s health, which factors would of necessity include a virus such as COVID.
I achieved the associate level as a public health engineer by competence, Sorin, not by politics – I’m not some senator’s son, afterall.
So when this following notification came out from the CDC concerning COVID, it would have come to people like me to implement, not Tony Fauci, who talks on television, nor would it have been sent to you, either, to wit:
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Summary
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is closely monitoring a reported cluster of pneumonia of unknown etiology (PUE) with possible epidemiologic links to a large wholesale fish and live animal market in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China.
An outbreak investigation by local officials is ongoing in China; the World Health Organization (WHO) is the lead international public health agency.
Currently, there are no known U.S. cases nor have cases been reported in countries other than China.
CDC has established an Incident Management Structure to optimize domestic and international coordination if additional public health actions are required.
This HAN Advisory informs state and local health departments and health care providers about this outbreak and requests that health care providers ask patients with severe respiratory disease about travel history to Wuhan City.

Were you aware of that notification or warning, Sorin?
If not, why not?
You tell me how much is is that I don’t know, which would imply that you know far more about protecting public health than I do, so certainly, you must have seen that CDC notification about COVID when it came out.
So what did you do about it?
As to Tony Fauci, he is someone willing to work for what the federal government pays him, and what he does is portray an infectious disease specialist on television, whereas I was a public health engineer in real life, not on television.
So Tony doesn’t do squat with regard to protecting the health of the public, Sorin, by talking on television; the real work of protecting the public’s health is left to public health professionals like myself who was twice commended by then-New York State Health Commissioner Dr. David Axelrod, himself a doctor like Fauci, except Axelrod was a state health commissioner, where Tony is a BIG PHARM SHILL on network television.
But believe what you want to believe because in America, Sorin, that is how it works – people hear what they want to hear and disregard the rest, and nobody stops them from doing so.
And the same goes for you trusting your health to Tony Fauci and following his advice for how you should live your life.
He has to be credible, afterall, because he is on television.
I know two vaccinated people who recently went on vacation to South Carolina and who are now hacking and coughing up all kinds of noxious gunk from their lungs after getting back.
“I know two vaccinated people who recently went on vacation to South Carolina and who are now hacking and coughing up all kinds of noxious gunk from their lungs after getting back.”
And your point is? Effectiveness is now around 80% right? What’s the surprise?
If you go back to the science, Sorin, not the bull**** Tony Fauci is filling your head with, you will find the following:
Press Briefing by White House COVID-19 Response Team and Public Health Officials
AUGUST 18, 2021
11:10 A.M. EDT
DR. WALENSKY: Good morning, everyone.
Recognizing that for most vaccines there is a reduction in protection over time, we have been analyzing the data closely from a number of cohorts in the United States and around the world to understand how long protection from the initial COVID-19 vaccine series will last.

So says the science, Sorin, and I understand it quite well – measured effectiveness of the Pfizer drug has gone from 76 percent to 42 percent, quite a bit lower than your inflated number.
And the CDC in conjunction with the National Healthcare Safety Network, a nursing home cohort, analyzed more than 85,000 weekly reports from more than 14,900 facilities, and those data demonstrate that vaccine effectiveness declined over time — from 75 percent in March, to 53 percent as recently as August 1st, 2021, again, quite a bit lower than your number, and it is going down from there.
And the booster isn’t going to give you a stronger immune system.
Just more weak stuff floating around in there messing up your adaptive immune system, which is a cascade system where a series of events have to take place in a sequence to give you real immunity, not a false sense of security.
“Like we saw in the New York data, vaccine effectiveness against infection declined over time — in this case, from 76 percent to 42 percent for those who received the Pfizer vaccine, and from 86 percent to 76 percent for those who received the Moderna vaccine.”
I guess I am lucky I got the Moderna. But still, being vaccinated reduces your changes of contacting (and therefore spreading) covid by 50-80%. It also decreases your chances of being hospitalized and/or dyeing by an order of magnitude.
Sorin, I personally have no problem with the concept of vaccines in general, or vaccination, and it is your body and your life and if you felt getting the vaccine was the right thing for you to do, then that’s the end of it.
My issue is with the political bull**** being put out by the Biden administration that this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.
If we go to the CDC’s own site https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/different-vaccines/Moderna.html titled Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Overview and Safety Updated Aug. 19, 2021, we find as follows:
Who Should NOT Get Vaccinated
If you have had a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) or an immediate allergic reaction, even if it was not severe, to any ingredient in an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (such as polyethylene glycol), you should not get an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine.
If you had a severe or immediate allergic reaction after getting the first dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, you should not get a second dose of either of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech).
A severe allergic reaction is one that needs to be treated with epinephrine or EpiPen or with medical care.
An immediate allergic reaction means a reaction within 4 hours of getting the shot, including symptoms such as hives, swelling, or wheezing (respiratory distress).

So what about those people?
Should they be criminalized or marginalized or ostracized or vilifed by the self-righteous holier-than-thou vaccinated because they are not vaccinated?
Should they be singled out by Joe Biden and his surgeon general as the cause of the pandemic continuing, as opposed to pointing out that their lives are in danger from vaccinated people carrying and spreading COVID?
That is my point.
I got no issue with people who are not getting the vaccine for a legitimate reason. Not does anyone else I know.
That’s good to hear that you don’t, bit there is going to come a time when those people are literal outcasts, as more and more of America becomes forbidden territory for those who can’t prove they have been vaccinated, which is highly discriminatory to shut those people away from society, including the ability to hold a job.
One unvaccinated person in a room with fifty vaccinated persons is no threat to the fifty vaccinated persons, but all fifty of those vaccinated persons are a threat to him and her, and each other.
May we always live in interesting times.
“One unvaccinated person in a room with fifty vaccinated persons is no threat to the fifty vaccinated persons, but all fifty of those vaccinated persons are a threat to him and her, and each other.”
That’s not really true, is it now. The current stats say that vaccinated people are 4 times less likely to get infected (and therefore spread it to others) and 16 times less likely to get hospitalized.
That means that an unvaccinated person is 4 times more likely to spread the disease and vaccinated people can still get it.
The bottom line is that one is way better off being vaccinated, both for his/her sake and the sake of others.
Sorin, you have a real talent, I must say, for totally missing the point, or outright failing to perceive reality.
Fifty vaccinated persons in a room should be herd immunity, so that the one unvaccinated person in the room would have nothing to worry about, which is the whole premise underlying vaccinating people, that after a certain percentage were vaccinated, the virus would no longer be able to spread because of herd immunity.
That is the science, and that is what Tony Fauci was on about in this following news clip:

FAUCI: Somewhere in April middle to end of April once you start getting vaccine going if you have good uptake namely the overwhelming majority of people want to get vaccinated you can expeditiously vaccinate people that by the time you get to the mid to the end of the second quarter of 2021 namely May June July August you very likely could have an overwhelming majority of the people vaccinated which means you’d have herd immunity that would allow you to safely get people back to school in the fall to safely get people back to the kinds of works that would otherwise be difficult as you get to the middle and end of the summer.
Fauci Expects to See Covid-19 Herd Immunity in Summer
December 1st, 2020, 7:10 PM EST
Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, says the overwhelming majority of Americans could be vaccinated by the second quarter of next year, leading to herd immunity in the summer and a return to school and work in the fall. He speaks on an online news conference with Colorado Governor Jared Polis. (Excerpt) (Source: Office of Colorado Governor Jared Polis) (Source: Bloomberg)

Your statistics prove him wrong, and anyway, I don’t listen to Tony Fauci, nor do I take advice or direction from him concerning my personal health, which I have been taking care without Tony for many years now.
The point is the politicization of this whole vaccine campaign right from the get-go beginning with OPERATION WARPED-SPEED, which was a publicity stunt, because the public was demanding the federal government cure them and protect them and take care of them and coddle and sooth them, and now there is a big political fight over who should get the credit, with Joe Biden’s people claiming it should be him.
And all this media hype about people dying like flies from COVID without publishing co-morbidities, as if everyone who died of COVID in Alabama were in perfect health, when according to the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), according to 2019 data, Alabama’s rate of adult obesity is 36.1%, which places the state in the seventh highest position in the nation.
And now Alabama has an alleged high death count from COVID, without co-morbidities being listed.
Which is a custom blend of hog****, horse****, bull**** with a chicken**** binder to hold it together.
According to the CDC’s own published data for Alabama, the leading causes of death in that state were as follows:
* Heart Disease
* Cancer
* Chronic Lower Respiratory Diseases
* Stroke
* Accidents
* Alzheimer’s Disease
* Diabetes
* Septicemia
* Influenza/Pneumonia
* Kidney Disease
end quotes
So, have deaths in Alabama due to these other causes ceased since COVID came along?
Do people in Alabama no longer die of heart disease, which makes people susceptible to dying from COVID, or cancer, or chronic lower respiratory diseases, or stroke?
Have they stopped dying from accidents or Alzheimer’s Disease or diabetes or septicemia or influenza/pneumonia or kidney disease?
Have deaths from all those cause been relabeled as deaths from COVID, instead?
And the answer is, Sorin, you don’t know!
So your statistics are worthless.
TRANSCRIPT OF AUGUST 18, 2021 COVID BRIEFING
DR. WALENSKY: The data we will publish today and next week demonstrate the vaccine effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2 infection is waning.
And even though our vaccines are currently working well to prevent hospitalizations, we are seeing concerning evidence of waning vaccine effectiveness over time and against the Delta variant.
Additionally, reports from our international colleagues, including Israel, suggest increased risk of severe disease amongst those vaccinated early.
Given this body of evidence, we are concerned that the current strong protection against severe infection, hospitalization, and death could decrease in the months ahead, especially among those who are at higher risk or who were vaccinated earlier during the phases of our vaccination rollout.
According to the news just now, Jesse Jackson and his wife are both hospitalized with COVID.
Jesse Jackson is vaccinated.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted full approval to the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer Inc and BioNTech SE in a move that could accelerate inoculations in the United States.
“Full approval means that there’s most likely going to be more mandates, more companies will mandate that you have to get the vaccine in order to get back to the office,” Cardillo said.

Opinion: We Have Been Naive About Naive T Cells
José A.M. Borghans, Femke van Wijk, and Theo van den Broek
Apr 6, 2018
The immune system is known for its ability to remember its response to pathogens, leading to more efficient clearance of the same pathogen upon reinfection.
This immunological memory forms the basis of one of the most important medical achievements: infection prevention through vaccination.
Any memory response to a pathogen, vaccine, or tumor starts with naive T cells.
These cells are produced by the thymus and each have a unique T-cell receptor, recognizing a specific part of a pathogen.
Critical for every T-cell response is the activation of T cells from their naive state.
Only those naive T cells that recognize a pathogen via their T-cell receptors lose their naivety and differentiate into effector cells, which can kill infected cells or give help to other immune cells.
Following pathogen clearance, most of the effector cells will die while a small pool of T cells develops into memory T cells, responsible for the quicker and stronger immune response upon a subsequent encounter of the pathogen.
Although the success of vaccination is beyond dispute, important challenges remain.
One of these challenges is the successful vaccination of newborns and elderly individuals, who are most vulnerable to infections, but paradoxically respond least efficiently to vaccination.
In the elderly, the T-cell pool is skewed towards memory cells.
Because the thymus produces progressively fewer naive T cells with age, the loss of naive T-cell receptor diversity is generally held responsible for the weak response to vaccination.
If the loss of specific naive T cells in elderly individuals is indeed the cause of the decreased response to vaccination, protecting the elderly may require vaccination at an earlier age.
If the T-cell receptor diversity of naive T cells in the elderly is not a limiting factor, vaccine strategies for the elderly may instead have to focus on boosting the magnitude of the immune response.
Waning Immunity Creates Risk
September 25, 2020
Ivan Navarro, PharmD
Pharmacy Times, September 2020, Volume 88, Issue 9
Vaccines have made a significant impact on public health by controlling infectious diseases across the world.
Although some vaccines create long-term immunity, with others the immunity wanes over time, creating the risk of infectious diseases spreading.
Immunity in the absence of vaccination is maintained through frequent exposure to infection throughout one’s lifetime, which boosts waning immunity.
In this postvaccine world, however, the prevalence of infection declines, resulting in less exposure and boosting.
This can potentially lead to epidemic cycles where infection rates fall following vaccination and then rise as immunity wanes.
