  1. My favorite read on a Sunday morning!

    As to Jen:

    FOX 5

“Jen Psaki reportedly set to leave White House for MSNBC gig in May”

By Nikolas Lanum, Alexa Moutevelis and Brandon Gillespie

    Published April 1, 2022

Fox News White House Correspondent Jacqui Heinrich separately confirmed Psaki will leave the White House for MSNBC and reported the network beat out CNN in a bidding war, although the deal hasn’t been signed yet.

Recently, it was reported that Psaki had been in talks with CNN and other prominent networks.

CNN interim co-president Amy Entelis and CNN+ programming lead Rebecca Kutler traveled to Washington in early February to recruit Psaki, followed by NBC News Chairman Cesar Conde and MSNBC President Rashida Jones, Puck’s Dylan Byers first reported on February 23.

Some on Twitter responded to the Axios report with questions about the ethics of Psaki negotiating a deal while still working at the White House.

As Fox News contributor Byron York pointed out, “For past months, WH spokeswoman has been briefing news organizations that were vying to hire her.”

Dan McLaughlin from National Review wrote, “Also, under no circumstance should members of the White House press staff be negotiating, *while employed by the White House* with media organizations that cover the White House.”

Rory Cooper of the reputation management firm Purple Strategies tweeted, “Now that this is out there, I don’t know how you stay on another day and continue taking questions from your new employer.”

Others pointed that the potential new job wouldn’t be much different from Psaki’s current role.

Substack writer Jim Treacher joked, “Going from a Democrat-controlled White House to MSNBC is a lateral move,” while RealClearInvestigations deputy editor Benjamin Weingarten asked, “Isn’t she already doing that [hosting an MSNBC show]?”

  2. And in the meantime, this according to the Fox News story titled “Kamala Harris distances herself from Biden remark calling for Putin’s removal: ‘We are not into regime change'” by Joseph Wulfsohn on 1 April 2022, Karmela was pressed about whether she agreed with President Biden’s controversial remark calling for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s removal from power.

Her response is interesting as reported in the story, to wit:

During an interview that aired Friday on MSNBC, “ReidOut” host Joy Reid asked the vice president if she agreed that Putin “should no longer be the leader of Russia.”

Harris initially dodged the question by giving a long-winded answer, pivoting to the “serious consequence” the Biden administration vows to place on Putin for his aggression toward Ukraine, citing “severe sanctions” she said are “having a real impact and an immediate impact, not to mention the longer-term impact.”

“So no luck on getting you to weigh in on whether he should be — whether he should remain?” Reid asked.

“Listen, let me be very clear, let me be very clear,” Harris replied.

“We are not into regime change and that is not our policy.”

    “Period.”

Which of course if pure horse****, because on March 20, 2013, while this very same Joe Biden was then “weak sister” Hussein Obama’s executive deputy assistant president, Obama said Syrian President Bashar al Assad has lost his legitimacy and “must go,” during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu which is a matter of record and one would think that somebody as smart as Karmela Harris, who has a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, would be right on top of this stuff, especially since Hillary, who also is very smart and has a J.D. from Yale Law School, appeared in an ABC NEWS video titled “Hillary Clinton on Syria: ‘Assad Must Go'” https://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/hillar … d-16050179 , and Hussein himself appeared in a YouTube video titled “Obama and Erdogan: Syria’s Assad Must Go” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvvqrwwkSlM and what they were talking about then is the same thing Joe Biden is talking about today, and what Karmela Harris is futilely trying to deny, that indeed they do have a policy of regime change, which is why Gaddafi is no longer alive or in charge in Libya.

What a clown show these people are, and maybe that is why Jen is getting out now while the getting is good, before her name becomes inextricably entwined with the policies of Joe Biden, which would put her in the class with such other famous female propagandists such as Tokyo Rose, Hanoi Hannah and Axis Sally, a name shared by Mildred Elizabeth Gillars (November 29, 1900 – June 25, 1988) who was an American broadcaster employed by Nazi Germany to disseminate Axis propaganda during World War II, who following her capture in post-war Berlin, became the first woman to be convicted of treason against the United States, and along with Rita Zucca was nicknamed “Axis Sally.”

  3. And as to Joe Biden, who himself is an autocrat, and his supposed war against autocrats, which would be a war against himself and the ruling Democrats in this country, who he is supporting in Ukraine is in reality another un-democratic autocrat just like himself as we see in the VOX.com article “Ukraine has more than Russia to worry about – A Ukrainian journalist on the Kremlin’s escalation, NATO, and a former president’s treason charges” by Jen Kirby on Jan. 28, 2022, where she interviews Oleksiy Sorokin, the political editor and chief operating officer of the Kyiv Independent, as follows:

Jen Kirby: That former president you mentioned, Poroshenko, is basically being accused of treason.

    What’s going on there?

Oleksiy Sorokin: Well, yes, this is a very interesting case, because it’s developing amid the ongoing Russian military buildup, so many people are saying that this case is happening in the worst possible time.

But actually, it’s ongoing for several years.

It’s just Poroshenko who was charged with high treason in December.

The substance of this case is basically: when Poroshenko was president, he allowed the import of coal from Russian-occupied Donbas, which the current prosecution says was helping Russian-backed militants in eastern Ukraine to get financing.

That’s why he’s accused of high treason.

Meanwhile, supporters of Poroshenko and his defense offer that the money was paid to Ukrainian companies, and there isn’t any treason.

The Ukrainian popular opinion is split.

Around 50 percent of people say that this is a politically motivated case.

One, because Zelensky is known for making comments against Poroshenko and basically explicitly promising to have Poroshenko and his officials prosecuted, which adds to this notion of Zelensky going after Poroshenko.

Also, we know that Zelensky and his inner circle have a very low opinion of their political opponent, which can add to the notion of Zelensky wanting him behind bars.

Also the prosecutor-general of Ukraine, Iryna Venediktova, is a former MP [member of Parliament] from Zelensky’s Servant of the People party.

So a lot of people in Ukraine rightfully believe that the prosecution is dependent on the president.

Jen Kirby: Zelensky came in to clean up corruption, which has been a long-standing problem in Ukraine.

But this question about whether this is a politically motivated prosecution certainly doesn’t look great for a guy who promised to commit to democracy and rule of law.

    How do you see it?

Oleksiy Sorokin: A lot of people rightfully believe that under Zelensky there’s been a curtailing of a lot of democratic institutions.

For example, Zelensky is alleged of controlling the prosecutor-general, he’s alleged of controlling the Investigation Bureau.

He’s also known as having direct influence on Parliament, which, according to the constitution, he doesn’t have to have.

So under Zelensky, there’s been an extremely big centralization of power going on.

And there’s a lot of warning signals and markers that allow us to believe that Zelensky is not really true on his word of fighting corruption, and clearing Ukraine of this long-standing practice of the president influencing both the parliament and law enforcement.

    end quotes

This Zelensky character that Joe Biden is telling us we have to support sounds like a Ukrainian version of either Joe Biden or Adolf Hitler, the Poroshenko dude now charged with high treason is somebody old Joe himself was quite tight with, as can be seen in a speech old Joe made in Ukraine on January 17, 2017, where the old goofball gave his buddy Poroshenko high praise indeed, to wit:

As I said last year when I had the great honor to address the Rada, “Each of you has an obligation to answer the call of history and finally build a united, democratic Ukrainian nation that can stand the test of time.”

You’re well underway to do that, Mr. President.

So I wanted to thank you, Petro, not only for your leadership but for your friendship.

None of what you’ve done so far has been easy, but you’ve done it.

And we know it’s going to be hard to continue to finish the job.

You’re fighting both against the cancer of corruption, which continues to eat away at Ukraine’s democracy within, and the unrelenting aggression of the Kremlin.

Russia’s continued attempts to undermine your success, your security, your sovereignty, and your territorial integrity are manifold.

    False propaganda attacks.

    Attempts to destabilize your economy.

Russia over the last decade or so has used another foreign policy weapon.

It uses corruption as a tool of coercion to keep Ukraine vulnerable and dependent.

So pursue those reforms to root out corruption.

It’s not just about good governance.

    It’s about self-preservation.

It’s about your very national security.

It’s not just about good governance.

    end quotes

And now, with respect to the corruption in Ukraine that helped keep Hunter Biden off the welfare rolls, now the Russians appear to have Zelensky on their side in that endeavor.

Strange how it all goes, isn’t it!

  4. As to Joe Biden today, here is where he now is as he becomes one of the most despised presidents in American history:

And here is the old goofball starting that process of dividing America into a majority who can’t stand his guts today versus a small minority who still see Joe as their hero. Messiah, and savior, this back in September of 2018, when he was calling Americans who couldn’t stand his guts back then “dregs of society”:

  5. When it comes to being unpopular with that segment of the American people who are neither stupid nor fools, Joe Biden and Karmela Harris are a matched pair of bookends:

    THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER

    “Kamala Harris unpopular, unqualified: Rasmussen”

    Opinion by Paul Bedard

    4 APRIL 2022

Voter questions about President Joe Biden’s mental and physical fitness have done nothing to change continued doubts about his vice president, Kamala Harris.

According to the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, Biden’s No. 2 is seen as both unpopular and unqualified.

After recently stumbling over her words on several topics, Rasmussen found that 54% do not believe the former California senator is qualified to be president.

And it is notable that 45% see Harris as “not at all qualified” to be president, according to the poll previewed by Secrets.

Not surprisingly, then, voters have an unfavorable opinion of Harris.

Just 40% view the first female vice president favorably compared to 56% who have an unfavorable opinion.

Harris has been dogged by recent “word salads” and misstatements, massive staff turnovers and few accomplishments.

Just today, her deputy chief of staff quit.

  6. This Democrat party will go down in history as a huge cancer on our society. Just imagine where we would be without their corruption, lies and just plain stupidity. IMAGINE

    1. Ds and Rs are two wings of the same bird. Why are there hundreds of flavors of ice cream in any grocery store yet only two parties in a nation of over 330 million?

Using Germany as an example only for convenience, their population is approx 83 million ( approx 1/4 of USA) and they have 7 major political parties to represent their cirizens. Yet here we have the false left right paradigm exclusively.

      Go Team!

      1. There, Pasquale, is a question I never hear a rational answer to, and I have found people to get quite bristly when you ask them to explain that, with the usual answer being a variation of either that is the way it has always been, or that is the way it is supposed to be, both of which are non-answers.

People say we have to have a two-party system because if there were mo9re parties, it would hopelessly divide the vote and cause chaos.

But if you look at the numbers, neither party is above about 30%, while independents like myself who don’t drink anybody’s Kool-Aid are over 40%, and yet, we get no representation in the Washington government.

So why do we only have just two parties?

Nobody really knows, nor really cares.

  7. The New York Times recently had an interesting op-ed posted detailing the decline and fall of the Democrats in America for good reasons:

    Fox News

“New York Times op-ed states Democrats’ are making it too easy for Republicans to win in the midterms – One professor said Democrats have turned away from being the party of the working class and a party that now tolerates crime.”

By Joe Silverstein | Fox News

    Published March 24, 2022

A New York Times op-ed published Wednesday argued that Democrats are making it too easy for Republicans to win the midterm elections in 2022.

Citing various political operatives and academics, Thomas B. Edsall, who writes a weekly column for the times, wrote about how Democrats’ more radical policies and positions, like defunding the police, have turned off more moderate voters.

Sean Westwood, a political scientist at Dartmouth, said Democrats have turned away from being the party of the working class and a party that now tolerates crime.

“Democrats used to be the party of the working class, but today they are instead seen as a party defined by ostensibly legalizing property crime, crippling the police, and injecting social justice into math classes,” he said.

Westwood also argued that in some circles of the Democratic Party, people are ostracized for holding moderate views.

John Halpin, a liberal writer who was also quoted in the article, noted that voters view elected Republicans as being more competent than elected Democrats.

“The biggest problem ahead of the 2022 midterms is that voters don’t think Biden and the Democrats are focused on the issues that matter most to them,” he said.

“If you look at the most recent Wall Street Journal poll, Democrats are currently suffering double-digit deficits compared to Republicans on perceptions about which party is best able to handle nearly all of the issues that matter most to voters.”

The poll found voters believe Republicans are better equipped to handle the rebuilding of the economy, border security, and crime.

A liberal columnist for The Philadelphia Inquirer Will Bunch pointed to class issues as a reason for the Democratic Party’s slide in popularity.

Bunch noted that there is “a sense that Democrats are now the party of self-enlightened degree holders” who look down on the working and middle class.

Edsall concluded his column saying the Democrat Party can’t be successful when the progressive base of its party stand against what the majority of Americans think and believe.

  8. And speaking of somebody being lost in space, this video of Joe Biden is priceless, a picture being worth a thousand words, afterall, because it seems to really capture and epitomize the bizarre nature of the Biden presidency, where Joe recently called Michelle Obama the vice president, to wit:

    YouTube

Biden appears ‘lost’ in White House event as guests swarm around Barack Obama instead

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGRxVITBGOA

Poor Joe is wandering the desert there, looking for somebody, anybody, who has a clue as to who he is, only to find out that nobody does.

  9. And hey, how about that Joe Biden reducing the Russian rouble to rubble while destroying Russia’s economy with his massive crippling sanctions:

    Reuters

“Rouble rallies on Moscow Exchange, stocks up after new sanctions”

    By Reuters Staff

    April 7, 2022

(Reuters) -The Russian rouble firmed sharply in Moscow trade on Thursday to levels last seen before Russia sent tens of thousands of soldiers to Ukraine, while stocks indexes jumped higher, shrugging off a new round of sweeping western sanctions.

The rouble ended the day 5% higher at 75.75 against the dollar after briefly touching 74.2625, its strongest level since Feb. 11.

Against the euro, the rouble firmed more than 6% to 81.45 after touching its strongest level since late October of 80.69.

The United States on Wednesday announced a new round of penalties targeting Russian financial institutions, as well as Kremlin officials and their family members.

  10. Recently, another American confronted me about my view that this war in Ukraine is really Joe Biden’s war by stating that it was Putin who invaded Ukraine, not Joe Biden, to which I could only reply that indeed it was Putin who invaded Ukraine, which is all we hear about anymore on the news and from the white house, a constant barrage of propaganda about how it was Putin who invaded Ukraine, when it is obvious he did to anybody and everybody who has a brain in their head and eyes to see.

And what is equally obvious, I replied, to anyone who knows history and keeps up on a daily basis with current events, which is what contemporary history is made out of, Putin did so because Joe Biden clearly gave him the provocation to do so.

It was and is Joe Biden who needs this war for his legacy as the FIRST AND GREATEST WORLD LEADER of modern times, an Augustus Caesar for our troubled times, going to establish a real thousand-year Reich on earth while imposing a PAX BIDEN, or so Joe in his seriously deluded state believes.

Putin on the other hand is protecting his country from a rising fascist threat on his border that Joe Biden is loading up with all manner of weaponry to make Ukraine another Libya or Syria, and that is obvious to a blind man.

And then I went further by remarking as to how I seem to recall if my memory is not gone faulty that when the Russians were putting missiles in Cuba, which is near our border, in OUR hemisphere, we were going to nuke them, plain and simple, in a preemptive strike, and there is NO ONE out there past the eleventh grade who should be ignorant of that American history called the CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS, unless with all the time spent on critical race theory and the sexual mores of all the various sexual classifications there are now proliferating across America, so that in sending an e-mail to the N Y governor today in the new age, you can identify yourself as Mx. instead of Mr., they no longer teach that kind of stuff in the Commonwealth of Virginia, which is entirely possible because an ignorant population is a tractable population that is prone to believing propaganda and thus, is easily misled.

And beyond that, I said, as to Putin going in to protect ethnic Russians, isn’t that why we invaded the Dominican Republic in 1965 to put down a popular revolution in favor of a military dictatorship – to supposedly protect American lives?

Isn’t that what got us further and further into VEET NAM – protecting American lives?

So I am able to see what Putin is doing is acting naturally when presented with a clear threat on his border in the same way JFK acted naturally when the Russians put a threat not on our border, but near it.

Makes all the sensed in the world to me, anyway, that Putin would act before he would allow Joe Biden to put missiles and nuclear weapons into a Ukraine with a fascist leader like this Zelensky, who right now is the tail wagging the dog.

And how much unaccounted for money are we pouring into Ukraine with its corrupt political leader?

Who is keeping track of that money?

Is there a special inspector general to keep account of it?

And speaking about turning Ukraine into another Syria with warlords and armed terrorist groups and civil war which will pour coin into all the defense industries who pour coin in the pocket of Adam “SHIFTY” Schiff, the Hollywood congressman who is one of Nancy Pelosi’s WITCH HUNTERS, as well as the head of the intelligence committee, where Adam has access to all kinds of inside information of great value to the arms industry in this country which justifies their investments in him, in the Business Insider article titled “Exiled Russian oligarch says ‘big cities are going to end up in coffins’ if Putin sends conscripts from urban areas to Ukraine” by Azmi Haroun on 5 April 2022, we are informed on that score as follows:

The US and other NATO countries have sent thousands of weapons to Ukraine in recent weeks.

The shipments include anti-armor and anti-aircraft missiles which could be used against Russian tanks and helicopters.

Around 17,000 anti-armor weapons have been sent to Ukraine in the last number of weeks and are being pressed into use against Russian tanks and other hardware.

    end quotes

Think about that, people – 17,000 anti-armor weapons sent in just a couple of weeks.

    So?

Are there 17,000 Russian tanks in Ukraine?

But of course anti-armor weapons don’t have to be used just for tanks,

They would work real great blowing a hole in the wall of your neighbor’s hose, as well, because you don’t like him, or blowing up his car with his family inside to teach another neighbor a needed lesson in humility.
