Town of Cape Charles has authorized the Town Manager to sign an agreement for professional services with Summit Design and Engineering Services in an amount of $61,275, for Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinances Updates.
Phase I of this project involved finishing the work already begun by the Planning Commission to complete the Comprehensive Plan update. Phase II was to then use the new Comp Plan to conduct a complete review and update of all the Town’s zoning ordinances.
With the addition of the consulting services, it is still estimated to take 12 months to complete the project.
