The Capital Projects manager has been busy. Here is a quick roundup:
-They installed Gaga Ball pit in playground with volunteers from Citizens for Central Park
-Working with Treasurer on proposal for creation of a special service district
-Briefed Council on the need for a VDOT project agreement for Multi-use Trail, Phase 4
-Notified VDOT of Council’s decision to not move forward with Phase 4 at this time
-Participated with Town Manager in discussions with two of the firms being considered for PPEA utility consulting services. Discussion with third firm scheduled for next week
-Provided Clark Nexsen digital survey file for Mason Avenue parking project
-Continuing discussions with Department of Wildlife Resources on potential new agreement on the boat ramps
-Working with Public Works Manager on options for improvements to the park fountain
-Started development of RFP statement of work for architectural services for renovation of space for future town offices

They didn't slow it down for farm machinery over the last 80 years.
