CAPE CHARLES, Va. —The Capital Projects Manager Bob Panek has been actively coordinating with the Town Attorney regarding the status of several easements and deeds required for the KW 1&2 pipelines project. While VAW is now overseeing the construction, the town remains responsible for finalizing the necessary real property transactions as per the post-closing agreement.
Additionally, the Project Manager participated in the Beachfront Master Planning committee meeting, working alongside consulting firm VHB to advance the development of the town’s beachfront area.
Efforts are also underway to enhance the local library’s infrastructure. The Project Manager collaborated with a developer and the A&N Electric Cooperative (ANEC) to plan new underground electric service for the library building. This plan includes the installation of separate service lines and meters for the residential and library condominium units.
