CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The board of the Cape Charles Rosenwald School Restoration Initiative (CCRSRI) is calling on community members to join an advisory council aimed at guiding the future of the historic school. The council will play a crucial role in providing insight and direction from a diverse group of local residents, faith-based institutions, interest groups, and organizations to better understand and address the community’s needs.
The advisory council’s input will significantly influence the programming and services offered at the school. The CCRSRI emphasizes the importance of having a diverse council to ensure that the school’s offerings are inclusive and representative of the entire community.
Interested individuals are encouraged to reach out by emailing info@ccrosenwaldschool.org or calling (757) 331-0041 by July 31. Those who wish to serve on the council or learn more about its role are welcome to get in touch. A meeting will be held in August to discuss the council’s formation and objectives.
The Cape Charles Rosenwald School Restoration Initiative is dedicated to building a better life for the children and families in the area, and this advisory council is a step towards achieving that goal.
