The new Cape Charles Farmers Market continues on Tuesdays from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The Town of Cape Charles is also having an Outdoor Market held on Saturday, May 28 th from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
These are different events. The Outdoor Market is a one-time event sponsored by the Town of Cape Charles. The Farmers Market is an ongoing event that is sponsored by the Cape Charles Historical
Society.
The Cape Charles Farmers Market has been wildly successful. The first three Market dates averaged over 200 people despite poor weather. Jeff Madsen and Charlie Stellingwerf of Off the Hook, Peg Volk, and Scott and Melinda serenaded shoppers and raised rain-soaked spirits. Our three anchor farmers, Mattawoman Creek, Copper Cricket, and Perennial Roots have been offering pastured eggs and meat, bok choi, kale, bunching onions, lettuce, carrots and a host of other vegetables. The two bakers, the Cape Charles Coffee House and Cape Charles Confectionery will grow to three with the addition of The Bakery at Riverside Farm in June. Cal’s Putterings, handcrafted wood products, Lavender Skies and WT Wilkins’ honey have been regular vendors. We hope to add more vendors in the future.

You would do well to mind your own business.
You fellas are Savages, you must be related to Rowland Savage, who had a plantation in Machipongo. In mid 1600s…
Common sense would explain the difference. Funk AI and the people who developed it.
I worked in Cape Charles over a dozen years ago and noticed that some things were played fast and loose…
Truth is not intimidation.
