The Cape Charles Police Department has two open positions which will be starting in July.
Duties consist of providing a full range of law enforcement services to the Town, working closely with the public, enforcing the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and ordinances of the Town of Cape Charles.
Applicants must have an unblemished record and character, possess a valid Virginia Driver’s License, be committed to the highest level of professionalism and excellence, and successfully complete a background investigation and drug test.
A current DCJS law enforcement certification preferred and 5+ years of police experience a plus, however, candidates who have no prior experience, but possess outstanding character and work ethic, are welcome to apply. Salary DOQ.
