CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Town of Cape Charles is currently searching for a candidate with exemplary character and proven experience in accounting and finance to become the next Town Treasurer. This key role involves overseeing the Town’s financial affairs, necessitating the ability to work under deadlines, multitask, and possess strong supervisory skills.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or finance and at least five years of relevant work experience, preferably within the public sector. Familiarity with financial software and proficiency in MS Excel and other Office products are crucial for this position.
