Gov. Ralph Northam and his wife Pam have both tested positive for the coronavirus, Northam announced in a press release Friday morning.
The two were tested Thursday afternoon after they learned on Wednesday that a member of Northam’s official residence staff, who works in the governor’s mansion in Richmond, had developed symptoms and tested positive.
There is no word on where the Governor may have contracted the deadly virus, and it has not been confirmed if the infection is related to the Governor’s time in Virginia Beach where his was scene not wearing a protective mask.
Ralph Northam isn’t experiencing any symptoms, but Pam Northam is experiencing “mild” symptoms, according to the press release.
The Governor and his wife will isolate for the 10 days.
They are working with the state and Richmond health departments to track their contacts, and the governor’s mansion and Patrick Henry building, where the governor’s and many cabinet members’ offices are located, will be closed for deep cleaning morning.

The sad thing is they will receive more medical attention with a healthy dose of good old fashioned ‘Kiss-A$$” than the people that voted for them. We live in a world of smoke and mirrors.
Northam asked his Dr. for hydroxychloroquine to keep his covid symptoms mild, but his pharmacist told him he’s not allowed to dispense the drug due to Va. and A.M.A. rules.

It’s a perfect example of how freedom of the press can be abused and we can’t believe everything we read.
Then again, you can believe part of this. The A.M.A. has nothing to do with my comment, but the F.D.A. sure does.
Be aware of misdirection ?
In March the F.D.A. had approved off label experimental use of hydroxychloroquine as a possible help with covid 19. Then in May Trump began to really tout it’s effectiveness and the FDA subsequently revoked that authorization in June.
I have no idea if R. Northam or his Dr. has requested that drug, but if they have the pharmacist really can’t get it for him. It would for sure be ironic if the FDA decision was a political one.
What I like to do is to follow the money for accurate info. Wall St. truly has no conscience. They are driven by living and breathing the bottom line. Politics will make them fickle but you can get the info that affects their greedy goals. Market Watch shared an article on 10/3 that shared that drug availability info.
