VIRGINIA BEACH — The Virginia Aquarium is in the process of creating a license plate that will help support the its ocean conservation efforts and it needs 450 applications to do it.
The deadline for the 450 applications to be completed and paid for is Jan. 7, extended from the original deadline of Dec. 31, 2018, according to the aquarium’s website.
The funding generated from the license plate sales will help support the Virginia Aquarium’s conservation and research programs, including their state-wide marine animal Stranding Response Program.
