There’s a lot of hate for the Queen being floated around today. Low cost, meaningless, phony, pseudo-rebellious acts of bratty defiance — like celebrating the death of a ceremonial monarch — seems the lifeblood of professional class leftism. The Queen was a mechanic in WWII, and a total badass. The clip below is how I choose to remember her:
As a young princess who came of age during World War II, the Queen’s style has often reflected the state of the nation. For example, her Norman Hartnell wedding gown was made using duchesse satin purchased with ration vouchers, as was typical for brides at that time. Decades on, the Queen continues to discreetly communicate using her outfits, from a diplomatic colour choice to a piece of jewellery carefully selected for the history attached.

The queen also was quite the dancer at the Ghillies Ball held yearly at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, where the queen was said to dance every dance late into the evening:
