The new traffic pattern started on February 6th on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. Northbound lanes will be diverted to Southbound lanes creating a bi-directional flow for about 10 miles. Traffic will be reduced to 2 lanes. No passing allowed. The work is expected to be completed in May.
The speed needs to be reduced. Folks need no to go too slow or too fast. If dark, please don’t turn the lights off. It is vety frightening at night when the lights are off on any area of the bridge.
