CAPE CHARLES, Va. — Job seekers across Virginia’s Eastern Shore will have an opportunity to connect directly with local employers next month as Northampton County prepares to host a regional jobs fair in Cape Charles.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Impact Center, located at 1500 Old Cape Charles Road.
Organizers say the fair will feature a range of employers offering seasonal, part-time, and full-time positions, reflecting the Shore’s diverse workforce needs as businesses gear up for the spring and summer seasons.
The event is being coordinated in partnership with Cape Charles Main Street and is designed to provide direct, face-to-face access between hiring managers and prospective employees.
Employers interested in participating may reserve a table for $30. Space is limited, and organizers encourage early registration.
In addition to year-round career opportunities, the fair is expected to highlight seasonal hiring tied to tourism, hospitality, retail, and service industries — sectors that typically see increased demand heading into the warmer months.
For businesses seeking to register, Cape Charles Main Street can be contacted at (757) 210-8083 or via email at info@capecharlesmainstreet.com.
Organizers describe the event’s mission simply: connecting “local employers” with “real opportunities” for residents across Northampton County and the surrounding Eastern Shore region.
