Hi I am Poncho a 2.5-year-old male chihuahua/terrier mix. I weigh in at 10.6 pounds. I am neutered and up to date on my vaccinations. I am very human-friendly and loving. I enjoy belly rubs and having the occasional zoomies.
I may do ok in a home with dogs of similar size, and it is uncertain how I would do with cats, but due to my spirit and size, I would most likely do fine in a home with cats. I will get along well with people of all ages. I am spunky, and entertaining.
I do like toys, or whatever I can find to entice you into a game of keep away. I am not a puppy, but I do have some good bursts of energy still as I am young.
If you think you may be interested in adopting Poncho, you can stop by the shelter any Tuesday-Saturday from 10a.m.-2:30p.m. for a kennel walk-through. (We have no same-day adoptions and an approved adoption application is required to be scheduled for a meet and greet.) You can pick up an adoption application while you are there or print one off on our website anytime www.shorespca.com.
You can also email us and ask that an adoption application be attached and sent back to you at shorespca@gmail.com. We ask that you have a good vetting history and or you are able to continue vet care for any of our adoptees.
