Pets of the Week: Meet Megan and Marlette

Hi, I’m Megan, a very friendly 5-month-old female kitten. I like the kitten friends I share a room with, but humans are my favorite because I’ve quickly learned that they enjoy lavishing me with love and affection. I love being on the receiving end of their attentions, so I approach strangers without much hesitation. It’s a win-win situation!

I love to suckle on the blankets here and make dough biscuits. I really enjoy cuddling and napping with my roommates, and of course I enjoy my playtime with them too. There’s a lot of wrestling and chasing each other that goes on, but I also enjoy walking around sometimes with my little stuffed mouse looking for somewhere to hide it from my playmates.

Meet Marlette

Hi! I’m Marlette, a 5-month- old female kitten. I look very sleek and sophisticated with my beautiful solid silver-grey coat, and I really stand out here in the kitten room because I’m the only kitten who’s not some combination of black and white. To be honest, I enjoy being a little different. I absolutely agree with whoever said that variety is the spice of life.

But even though I look different from all my friends, I really enjoy being here with them. We spend a lot of time playing together. Chase is one of our favorite games, and personally I really love to climb the kitten tower. After we’re all played out, I enjoy taking a nap while hugging my best friends.

I’m friendly, and I like it when people come into the room to visit with us. It may take a second for me to approach you, but once I do approach, I really enjoy love and affection. I hope it won’t be long before someone takes me home with them to become part of their family. Since I’m spayed and up to date on my vaccinations, I’m all ready to go with them.
