Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia has scheduled a seminar, “Induction Cooktops: What, Why, & How”. The free 90-minute seminar will be held 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7th in Room 113 of the Eastern Shore Community College, 29316 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, VA 23410.
Terry Malarkey will demonstrate the operation of an induction cooktop, and describe the pros and cons.
Malarkey is retired to the Shore from a career in the electronics industry, including several years working for Westinghouse on the world’s 1st production induction cooktop.
These seminars are occasionally rescheduled on short notice. Prospective attendees are urged to check the Seminar’s website (www.SciPhi.org) shortly before a scheduled date.
