The mission of Shore Delivery Corps is “To provide a complimentary delivery service of needed medical supplies and prescriptions as well as perishable and non-perishable groceries to our fellow Eastern Shore of Virginia citizens who are at the highest risk for serious complications from the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), thus allowing this population to stay at home, away from public places and decreasing the potential exposure and spread of this virus.”
The group engagesg volunteers who are at the least risk of severe complications from COVID-19 to make the complimentary deliveries of needed prescriptions and groceries to the doorsteps of our most at-risk population.
Currently, they are also looking for volunteers to staff the remote call centers, providing assistance to our community members with order placement and delivery schedules.
