The Cape Charles Town Council will review a contract extension with Inversa Minds, LLC for continued IT support at the next Regular Meeting on March 16th. The current contract provides support services, charging an hourly rate depending on the level of support. The current contract is due to expire on April 24, 2023.
Two amendments are being proposed for the contract renewal:
i) Increase the billable hourly rates to $110.00 for standard support and $140 for emergency support.
ii) The Town would reimburse Inversa Minds for the cost of any third-party software or equipment used for providing services related to maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and monitoring of the Town’s network and computer systems.
Under the current agreement, Inversa Minds spend approximately $3,600 annually (based on the number of computers) for software providing staff the ability to remotely access the town’s computers. Staff uses this software for remote access when out of the office, or working from home.
This is a two-year renewal contract and either party may withdraw from the agreement with at least 30 days’ notice.
