In what can only be considered a modern-day miracle (the Vatican has been notified), the Town of Cape Charles read the manual ‘The nice, caring, and mindful guide to Municipal Government’ and relented, allowing volleyball back on the beach. The instructions in chapter three are very clear:
- Attempt to act like you have some common sense.
- Don’t be stupid.
- Don’t act like a power-hungry ogre.
- Listen. Try to understand what the people want.
In the end, the right decision was made.
