At the upcoming June 20th Regular Meeting, the Town Council will review, and more than likely approve a resolution authorizing town staff to apply for $1,000,000 of Industrial Revitalization Funds for the Cape Charles Rosenwald School Building Rehabilitation. The funds are purportedly going to be used for a community and education center.

Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development Industrial Revitalization Funds Program is used to target vacant non-residential structures that have become so rundown as to be considered an economic blight to the surrounding area.
