CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will begin street sweeping in Cape Charles on Monday, March 10, with work continuing through the end of the week, town officials announced.
Notices detailing the expected schedule and temporary street closures will be distributed to residents and businesses in affected areas.
Officials are urging residents to move all vehicles, trailers, and boats off the streets when notified to ensure efficient cleaning.
“We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in keeping the streets clear so the work can be completed as smoothly as possible,” town officials said in a statement.
For more information, residents are encouraged to review posted notices or contact local authorities.
