RICHMOND, Va. — The Virginia League of Conservation Voters (LCV) will offer the public a chance to stay informed about environmental policy discussions during the 2025 General Assembly session. Starting Jan. 8 and running through Feb. 22, Virginia LCV will host weekly legislative update calls every Friday at noon.
The virtual series aims to provide behind-the-scenes insights into legislative developments impacting the environment. Each session will cover the status of policy priorities, highlight legislative victories and setbacks, and provide opportunities for public advocacy.
“This is a critical moment for our environment, and we want to ensure Virginians have the tools they need to stay engaged and make a difference,” Virginia LCV said in a statement.
Participants are encouraged to RSVP to receive an email confirmation with the Zoom link, which will be used throughout the series. The updates are expected to shed light on key environmental issues being addressed in the General Assembly and empower citizens to take action.
