EASTVILLE, Va. — The Northampton County Sheriff’s Office is set to host a “Halloween Safe Night Out” on October 31, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event will be held on the lawn of the Sheriff’s Office at 5211 The Hornes in Eastville.
Designed as a safe and family-friendly environment, this community event aims to provide youth in Northampton County with a fun and secure Halloween experience. The evening will feature free food and drinks, a variety of games, and a “Trunk or Treat” activity, where children can collect candy and treats in a supervised and safe manner.
“This is an opportunity for families to enjoy Halloween in a safe setting,” said Sheriff David L. Doughty, whose office is sponsoring the event. “We want to offer parents peace of mind while their children enjoy the festivities.”

Admission to the event is free, and all Northampton County residents are encouraged to attend. The Sheriff’s Office hopes to foster stronger community relations through this initiative, offering a positive experience for local youth and their families.
