Town Manager Keuroglian posted this notice about the placement of the Silver Bullet temporary restroom.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share your concerns regarding the potential relocation and use of the “Silver Bullet” restroom trailer. I appreciate your thoughtful feedback and your continued engagement on matters affecting our community.
I would like to clarify that no final decision has been made to permanently locate the Silver Bullet at the north end of the beach (Bay Avenue and Washington Avenue). At this time, staff is evaluating temporary options to improve public restroom access in areas where services are currently limited, particularly during peak seasons and special events.
As you are aware, the Town is in the process of developing a comprehensive Beachfront Master Plan. While this plan has not yet been formally adopted by Council, it is intended to serve as a long-term vision for improvements, which does include consideration of a permanent restroom facility at Jefferson and Bay. Until such time as a plan is adopted and funding is secured for permanent infrastructure, any interim solution would be temporary in nature.
The Silver Bullet is one of several tools the Town may utilize to address short-term service needs. It is not intended to serve as a permanent installation at any single location. Rather, it is designed to be mobile and used strategically throughout Town—supporting beach access, community events such as summer concerts, and other high-demand periods.
We also understand and respect the concerns raised regarding aesthetics, maintenance, environmental conditions, and actual usage demand at the north end of the beach. These are all valid considerations and will be part of staff’s evaluation before any decisions are made. Community input, including feedback such as yours, plays an important role in that process.
Our goal is to balance the needs of residents, visitors, and property owners while being responsible stewards of Town resources. No action will be taken without careful consideration of both short-term needs and long-term community vision.
Thank you again for your input and for your continued care and commitment to the Town of Cape Charles.
Respectfully submitted,
Rick Keuroglian
Town Manager

Perhaps Rick Keuroglian should be relocated.
I think it funny that the town is still considering the master beach plan.
The shitter is full at Cape Charles. Hurrah for the portable Silver Bullet! Going where no turd is safe!
They haven’t even started on the “bathrooms” on strawberry street. And aren’t planning too.
Silver Bullet.
The Silver Bullet…..
Dang sounds like a fancy suppository or perhaps ammunition for the Lone Ranger.
HI Ho Silver… AWAY ! ! !
Now that is just downright childish potty humor. This forum does not deserve potty humor. It’s not even funny. Who are these people?
