The Town of Cape Charles is seeking residents interested in serving on several volunteer boards and commissions, including current vacancies on the Board of Zoning Appeals, Building Code Board of Appeals, Historic District Review Board, and Wetlands & Coastal Dune Board.
Town officials are encouraging citizens interested in helping guide local planning, preservation, and development efforts to submit an Application for Boards and Commissions.
Completed applications may be returned to Town Clerk Libby Hume at Cape Charles Town Hall, mailed to P.O. Box 191, Cape Charles, VA 23310, or emailed to clerk@capecharles.org.
Officials said Town Council will schedule interviews and make appointments after a number of applications have been received.
The town also expressed appreciation to current board and Planning Commission members for their continued volunteer service and dedication to the community.
