The entertainment press found it very important to report that Hollywood thinks President Donald Trump is an authoritarian. This is still somehow considered “news.” Over 2,300 members of the Writers Guild felt compelled to speak out in an open letter because they believe in their “role in a healthy democracy.”
In 2024, democracy was healthy, and then their candidate lost. “Writers Guild of America West PAC [political action committee] Endorses Kamala Harris for President,” they announced. So sad. They can’t get over it.
When the Left’s feverishly spinning propaganda machines don’t work, “now, we face an unprecedented, authoritarian assault.” The Democrats are about as popular right now as measles, so democracy is somehow endangered.
Meanwhile…..Obama on Texas Democrats fleeing the state: “We can’t let a systematic assault on democracy just happen and stand by… This precious democracy that we’ve got is not a given. It’s not self-executing. It requires us to fight for it.” Someone should tell the former prez he was president within a republic not a democracy. Shocking, you can be the head of something you don’t even understand….Soooo…as per B, run away from responsibility as fast as you can. Disgrace your state and grandstand and be lawless. Got it. White Hate in the Media…..Doreen St. Felix, a journalist who has also written for Vogue and Time Magazine, swiftly deleted her social media after X users brought up her tweets about how ‘whiteness fills me with a lot of hate.’
In other tweets, she wrote that ‘whiteness must be abolished’, that she ‘would be heartbroken if I had kids with a white guy’ and that white people’s lack of hygiene once started a plague.
‘I hate white men,’ the 33 year-old Haitian-American writer said in yet another post, which was first highlighted by conservative journalist Chris Rufo.
‘You all are the worst. Go nurse your f***ing Oedipal complexes and leave the earth to the browns and the women.’
St. Felix found her corrosive missives in the spotlight after writing for the Conde Nast-owned magazine about the controversy surrounding actress Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle jeans campaign.
The article slammed Sweeney’s fans for ‘wanting to recruit her as a kind of Aryan princess’, and said there were plenty of reasons’ not to like the actress’s advert ….
‘White people, who literally started a plague because they couldn’t wash their asses, need never say they taught black people hygiene,’ she said in another.
In one confusing take, St Felix said that ‘middle class white people think hospitals are places to go when you’re sick – that the police are who you go to when you need safety.’
St Felix deleted her social media after the tweets resurfaced, and she could not be reached for comment.
Daily Mail has contacted Conde Nast and the New Yorker for a reaction to St Felix’s missives.

You won’t find any citation that says he does. Statements like that put the veracity of the rest of your statements in question.

I love the Cape Charles Mirror, and have for years, and I consider it a great asset to our lives as mere commoners in the Wal $treet- run country, so I don’t like to talk bad about it, but I need to say that those planes shown are not B-52’s.
According to reports, one B-2 bomber flew overhead, representing a display of US air power, with four F-35 fighter jets escorting the B-2 during the flyover, and four F-22 fighter jets were positioned along the red carpet on the tarmac where Trump and Putin met.
Since Trump didn’t get his “deal” with Putin, I’m not sure Putin was all that impressed with Trump’s show of power.
But hey, he gave it the old college try, anyway.
Maybe he should have used a couple of B-52’s, instead.

Oil rose as US President Donald Trump’s meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky tempered expectations that a resolution to the conflict with Russia will be reached quickly.
“Crude traders have been whipsawed by alternating ceasefire hopes and sanction threats for years, leaving risk appetite limited in either direction.”
Talks about resolving the Ukraine war, which could allow Russia’s crude to trade more freely, have injected uncertainty into the market and kept oil trading in a narrow range recently.
Trump said after his talks with Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday that he would urge Zelensky to make a quick deal and sounded receptive to the Russian leader’s demand that Ukraine give up large swathes of land.
But in a show of support for Ukraine, leaders including European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, French President Emmanuel Macron and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte joined the high-stakes meeting in Washington.
Prior to the summit in Alaska, Trump told allies that reaching a ceasefire would be his key demand, and he threatened to walk out of the talks and impose tough new measures on Moscow and countries buying its oil if it wasn’t met.
On Friday, the US president signaled he was in no hurry to implement penalties.
So far, Trump has singled out India for buying Russian crude, imposing hefty tariffs on the South Asian nation for doing so.
His trade adviser strongly criticized India’s purchases of Moscow’s barrels in the Financial Times on Monday.
However, the US president said in a Fox News interview on Friday that he will hold off on increasing levies on Chinese goods due to the country’s purchases of Moscow’s crude.
