Bay Creek has closed the Coach House Tavern following an employee exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
In a communication sent to members: “one of our Coach House employees was exposed to an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19. Earlier this week, our employee began to exhibit virus-related symptoms and immediately decided to self-quarantine; the employee has not been tested due to the lack of available test kits. As a precaution, we are closing the Coach House, including the restaurant (which has been available for pick up only with strict distancing protocols) and restrooms until further notice. Additionally, we will continue to adhere to public health and social distancing guidelines including.” — Bob Masters, vice-president of Preserve Communities.
A Bay Creek resident forwarded this email to the Mirror: At first they told us it was closing due to renovations. Then came the email. I am not happy that they are just informing members and not informing anyone who may have ordered take out lately. It is not just members that need to know this information. There have been a lot of visitors here recently. There maybe privacy laws that prevent them from sharing it more widely but I saw the Heritage Hall employees article and I don’t know why this is different. Freedom means we all make decisions, but it is hard to make good decisions when only one group of members has the information.

Just wondering if the Governor’s daughters are attending Richmond Public schools, now that they live in the city.
