Why does the police allow the golf carts to run wild? While waiting for a pizza yesterday numerous carts sped by at a high rate of speed with babies held in the arms of parents, toddlers hanging off the back and to the cart everyone had an alcoholic beverage in their hand. Seems to me these aren’t safe actions but I could be wrong. Hopefully it doesn’t take an accident to bring the cops and town to police things.
Kind of hard to arrest or ticket someone for doing the same things they would do. I’ve seen a town council member driving around on her golf cart also with an open alcoholic beverage. You won’t see the town police ticket or arrest her either.
High rate of speed being 14mph. Just stop it.
That is why they belong on a golf course. Come-Heres brought that mess to the streets of The Eastern Shore, among many other thing they should have left where they come from.
14 mph may not sound like much when you’ve been out on the interstate doing 90 or coming down Route 13 at 75 in that but Suv but I guarantee you’ll change your mind if skin meets pavement. Or you’re baby slips out of your arms and skips down the road. I just think vacationers need to be policed a little so a tragedy doesn’t happen.
Ignorance is bliss, in a land of fools.
