The Town of Cape Charles published the following notice regarding the departure of Planning and Zoning Administrator Katie Nunez:
The Town of Cape Charles confirms that Katie Nunez is no longer employed by the Town.
Personnel matters are confidential, and the Town does not comment on the specific circumstances
of individual employment decisions. Our priority is to ensure continuity of service to residents,
applicants, and the Town’s boards and commissions. We are taking steps to maintain planning,
zoning, and permitting functions with as little disruption as possible. We thank Ms. Nunez for her
service to the Town and wish her success in her future endeavors.
