The Vacation Homeowners of Cape Charles sponsored the 2022 Historic Cape Charles Cookie Trail and had a fantastic turn out. There were 5 houses and the Bay Haven Inn featured on the tour, all decorated fabulously for the Christmas season. It is estimated 400+ people participated. The tour fund raised over $500 for the Cape Charles Volunteer Fire Department and collected a pickup truck load of canned goods donated to the local Food Bank. This is the first year the tour started at the Cape Charles Hotel which drew visitors through the Mason Avenue business district. The Almeta, located inside the hotel, opened for the event and remained busy for the afternoon. The Northampton Hotel also participated by offering discounted drinks and poinsettias.
The next upcoming event organized by the Vacation Homeowners of Cape Charles is the 1st Day on the Bay “polar plunge” scheduled for January 1st.
