The holiday season, Festive Fridays has shown just how wonderful Cape Charles is. I understand it has been a bit warm for Christmas, still it is wonderful to see the sidewalks filled, friends just hanging out and chatting, having drinks, shopping or just listening to music. And, we have one more weekend to go…if you haven’t been downtown to enjoy this wonderful event, you have one more chance next week as Felicity Laird and Jeremy Ward take the Strawberry Street Stage, the shops will once again be open till 8, and the movie at the Palace will be one of my favorites, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation….see you there!
Looks like 'The Boss Man' sitting on the bow, directing their efforts. Who is the Executive Director of The Whites…
Take note of additional entertainment on the Strawberry Street stage for Festive Friday 12/18!
Pete and Bob will be playing from 5-6:30 and Felicity and Jeremy from 6:30-8
Pete Hartzler, a singer/songwriter who accompanies himself on guitar,
flute and blues harp performs a wonderful mix of classic rock,
traditional folk and clever originals. And, I’m sure Pete will be adding
some classic holiday tunes to the evening’s performance.
Bob Sellers, sings and accompanies himself on electric guitar and always
brings a measure of excitement and fun to the party! You might hear an
eclectic mix of Commander Cody, Frank Zappa and Dylan. Just sit back
and be prepared to be entertained and amused!
