• 614 Strawberry Street – Windows that do not meet HDRB COA approval
• 509 Monroe Avenue – New fence installed without Zoning and HDRB approval
• 527 Monroe Avenue – New roof on front porch without Zoning and HDRB approval
• 209 Mason Avenue – Front glass change without HDRB approval
• 616 Tazewell Avenue – New fence installed without Zoning and HDRB approval
• 606 Madison Avenue – New fence installed without Zoning and HDRB approval
• 124 Peach Street – Front porch work without Zoning and HDRB approval
• Lot 108 Washington Avenue – New Shed without BZA, Zoning, and HDRB Approval
• 209A Mason Avenue – Sign installed without Zoning and HDRB Approval
• 209B Mason Avenue – Sign installed without Zoning and HDRB Approval
• 10 Strawberry Street – Signs installed without Zoning and HDRB Approval
• 535 Jefferson Avenue – Shed installed without Zoning and HDRB Approval

Who gives anyone or any organization the right to decide what you as the owner and tax payer of ANY property can or cannot do . It’s as much BS as this personal property tax . Taxed when purchased taxed again to register then taxed more to own it !!! REALLY!
And people say NY , Massachusetts taxes are high at least you do not get a personal property tax .
I just ordered a new toilet seat for the upstairs bathroom. Do I need to get approval from gestopo headquarters, I mean the HDRB before I install it?
It is about time the HDRB got those Come-Here’s in line. They come to our quaint little village and want to flaunt their disrespect for our rules and heritage. Don’t ruin Cape Charles. Go back to your over taxed, Woke miserable world and leave ours alone.
Is there a penalty or consequence for this? Seems like some of these have been on this list for months.
