CAPE CHARLES, Va. — A historic house was successfully relocated within the Cape Charles historic district on March 29, 2024.
The operation commenced in the morning, as the house embarked on its journey from the 600 block of Mason Ave to its new destination in the 600 block of Washington Ave. Under the guidance of the movers, the house traversed through Cape Charles.
The designated route took the house westward along Mason Ave, and continued onto Bay Ave, proceeding northward towards its final destination on Washington Avenue.
