CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Town of Cape Charles is embarking on a significant endeavor to enhance its beachfront, calling on residents to participate in shaping the future of its most cherished coastal asset.
The Town of Cape Charles has initiated the development of a comprehensive Beachfront Master Plan, aiming to revitalize and improve the overall beachfront. As part of this initiative, the Beachfront Master Planning Programming Survey has been unveiled to the public, inviting community members to share their insights and preferences.
Residents are encouraged to spare a few minutes to complete the survey, which is available in both electronic and hard copy formats. The electronic version can be accessed by scanning the provided QR Code with a mobile device. Alternatively, hard copies of the survey will be included in this month’s utility bills.
Those opting for hard copies can drop off their completed surveys at Town Hall, located at 2 Plum Street, or scan and email them to clerk@capecharles.org.
The deadline for responses is set for 2:00 p.m. on April 30, 2024, allowing residents ample time to provide their feedback.
The town expressed gratitude to residents for their participation in shaping the future of Cape Charles’ beachfront, underscoring the importance of community engagement in the planning process.
