Water and Wastewater Notes March 11, 2023

The Cape Charles Wastewater plant averaged 151,821 gallons a day during the week of March 3rd. The highest daily total was 165,529 gallons. Monthly, the planted treated 4,603,780 gallons a day, an average of 164,421 a day.

The Water Treatment Plant produced 746,970 gallons. The average daily production was 120,067 with a peak of 120,067, The plant operated for 45.50 hours with an average daily operation of 6.5 hours.

Staff meets weekly with Virginia American Water, and collects monthly Bacteria samples for the Virginia Department of Health.
